Saturday 09/09/17

21:30 Manchester City vs Liverpool – Etihad Stadium

Manchester City ($1.80)

Liverpool ($4.00)

Draw ($4.00)

Two of the freest scoring teams meet in an intriguing early afternoon encounter in Manchester. City failed with their Deadline Day plunge for Alexis Sanchez but still have plenty of attacking weapons at their disposal – although Raheem Sterling misses out against his former club following his over-zealous celebrations against Bournemouth a fortnight ago. Liverpool’s demolition of Arsenal made the footballing world stand up and take notice and they will be buoyed by the news Philipp Coutinho is staying at Anfield – for the time being at least.

Defending shouldn’t be too high on the agenda here and this could be an early contender for the match of the season.

Betting tip: Over 3.5 goals in the game ($2.20) BET NOW

2-2 Draw

Sunday 10/09/2017

00:00 Arsenal vs Bournemouth – Emirates Stadium

Arsenal ($1.33)

Bournemouth ($8.00)

Draw ($5.00)

The Gunners have had a disastrous start to the 2017-18 season with 2 defeats from their opening 3 games and they’ve conceded a whopping 8 goals in the process. The decision to sell Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has provoked unrest from the ‘Wenger out’ brigade and division in the fan base and dressing room is the last thing the North Londoners need. Bournemouth have had some problems of their own so far this term and have yet to register a point in the Premier League. They were desperately unlucky to concede a last minute goal to Man City last time out and will be eager to put things right this week.

The sharks are circling for Wenger again and Arsenal need a win to appease their fans, players and pundits.

Betting tip: Arsenal to win and Alexandre Lacazette to score anytime ($2.47) BET NOW

Arsenal to win 2-0

00:00 Leicester City vs Chelsea – King Power Stadium

Leicester City ($4.33)

Chelsea ($1.80)

Draw ($3.60)

The previous two Premier League winning sides meet in another fascinating early season encounter. Despite only having 3 points on the board, Leicester acquitted themselves admirably against Arsenal and Manchester United away from home and look to have rid the demons of last season. Riyad Mahrez looks to be staying – for now at least – which will only enhance their chances of staying competitive in the Premier League. It all looked gloomy for Chelsea after their opening day defeat to Burnley but subsequent wins over Tottenham and Everton will have given the Blues belief. Danny Drinkwater joined Chelsea from Leicester on Deadline Day which adds an interesting sub-plot to the tie.

Leicester have impressed so far this term, but Conte’s Chelsea seem to be gathering form and momentum.

Betting tip: Chelsea to win and both teams to score ($3.50) BET NOW

Chelsea to win 2-1

00:00 Southampton vs Watford – St Mary’s Stadium

Southampton ($1.67)

Watford ($6.00)

Draw ($4.00)

Two unbeaten sides meet on the south coast on Saturday with plenty at stake. Southampton had to dig deep to draw with Huddersfield in an entertaining 0-0 draw in Yorkshire last time out and whilst they look very astute defensively, Mauricio Pellegrino will be all too aware of the need to pose a more attacking threat. Watford have impressed so far this term and Marco Silva looks to be working his magic on an enthusiastic bunch of players from North London.

There shouldn’t be too much to choose between the 2 teams here and both teams should be carrying confidence into this one.

Betting tip: Manolo Gabbiadini to score anytime and the match to finish as a draw ($10.13) BET NOW

1-1 Draw

00:00 Everton vs Tottenham – Goodison Park

Everton ($3.5)

Tottenham ($2.05)

Draw ($3.50)

Two more of the leagues’ top 7 teams clash on Merseyside and it’s already looking like a must win game for both sides. For all their lavish spending and optimism, Everton have yet to really stamp their authority on any game this season and were fortunate to eek a draw at Manchester City and were dispatched of comfortably by Chelsea. Spurs’ Wembley woes continued last time out with Burnley salvaging a point in the dying embers whilst their previous showing was a pain-staking 2-1 defeat at the hands of bitter rivals Chelsea.

Both teams have dropped 5 points already this term and can’t afford to drop anymore.

Betting tip: Under 2.5 goals in the game ($1.91) BET NOW

1-1 Draw

00:00 Brighton vs West Brom – AMEX Stadium

Brighton ($2.50)

West Brom ($3.00)

Draw ($3.00)

The seagulls secured their first ever Premier League points last time out with a gritty 0-0 draw at Watford but they are still awaiting their first goal in England’s top flight – since its move to the Premier League in 1992. Chris Hughton will be hoping new signing Jose Izquierdo can solve that problem. West Brom have had an impressive start to the campaign and remain unbeaten from their first 3 matches. They’ve also managed to retain the services of Jonny Evans which is sure to be a big boost for Tony Pulis’s men.

Brighton will be earmarking games such as this to put points on the board but West Brom are seasoned Premier League campaigners and won’t give this one up easily.

Betting tip:  Jay Rodriguez to score anytime and West Brom to win the match ($10.12) BET NOW

West Brom to win 2-0

02:30 Stoke City vs Manchester United – Bet365 Stadium

Stoke ($7.00)

Manchester United ($1.50)

Draw ($4.00)

Stoke’s home form throughout their Premier League tenure has been impressive which they highlighted in their most recent fixture at the Bet365 with an impressive 1-0 win over Arsenal. Mark Hughes looks to have recruited well again this season and he’s sure to get his men up for this one against his former club.

Mourinho’s men have been lavished with praise so far this season, 9 points from a possible 9, 10 goals scored and 0 conceded – they look the real deal.

Stoke and their fans will be up for this one but United look too good for the Potters at present.

Betting tip: Manchester United to win and under 2.5 goals in the game ($3.01) BET NOW

Manchester United to win 2-0

22:30 Burnley vs Crystal Palace – Turf Moor

Burnley ($2.25)

Crystal Palace ($3.30)

Draw ($3.20)

Burnley’s performances against the so called ‘big’ teams this season have been remarkable. They backed up an opening day win at Chelsea with a last-gasp point against Spurs at Wembley through record signing Chris Wood. Sean Dyche’s only disappointment will be the home loss to West Brom and he’ll be looking to appease the home fans here. Frank de Boer has had a tough start to life in the Premier League – his team are yet to score this season and have shipped 6 goals already this term. They need to start picking up points rapidly and will see this as an opportunity to do so.

Crystal Palace look low on confidence so it could come down to whether Burnley have the conviction to take the game to them.

Betting tip: The match to be a draw at half time and at full time – ($4.80) BET NOW

1-1 Draw

Monday 11/09/2017

01:00 Swansea City vs Newcastle United – Liberty Stadium

Swansea City ($2.25)

Newcastle United ($3.20)

Draw ($3.40)

Swansea look to have had a transitional summer with the departures of their top 2 scorers from last season with Fernando Llorente joining Tottenham and Gylfi Sigurdsson joining Everton. Their fans should be satisfied with their replacements though, Wilfried Bony has returned from Manchester City and Renato Sanches has been acquired on loan from Bayern Munich. Paul Clement will be hoping they fill the void left by his two main men from last season. The Toon on the other hand have had yet another quiet transfer window and the discontent from Rafa Benitez and the fans is growing. They impressed last time out against West Ham but will need to improve away from home in order to avoid a relegation scrap this term.

Swansea are tough to beat under Clement, especially at home and could have a little too much quality for the Magpies.

Betting tip: Swansea to keep a clean sheet in the match ($2.90) BET NOW

Swansea to win 1-0

Tuesday 12/09/2017

20.00 West Ham vs Huddersfield – London Olympic Stadium

West Ham ($1.80)

Huddersfield ($4.50)

Draw ($3.50)

West Ham prop up the Premier League table and have conceded 10 goals from their first 3 games. Slavan Bilic is coming under increasing pressure from the Hammers contingent and their failure to add to the squad on Deadline Day will only accentuate the growing discontent.

Huddersfield sit third in the Premier League and are yet to concede in their first 3 games. David Wagner has done a remarkable job on a shoestring budget with the West Yorkshire outfit and they will be full of confidence heading into this one.

This already looks like a season defining game for West Ham who need points quickly.

Betting tip: West Ham to win and both teams to score ($4.00) BET NOW

West Ham to win 2-1

EPL Week 4 multi bet:

We’re backing two draws this week as a double with a betting stake of $50:-

Manchester City & Liverpool to draw

Everton & Tottenham to draw – pays $22.56 as a double.

A $50 wager would pay out $1128.00 if successful at the current odds.
