EPL Week 7 Tips

Manchester United vs Everton – Old Trafford

Manchester United ($1.55)

Everton ($7.6)

Draw ($4.5)

Manchester United will be hoping their midweek heroics over Villareal in the Champions League can restart their campaign. The Red Devils suffered painful defeats at the hands of West Ham and Aston Villa in the past week before Cristiano Ronaldo came to their rescue against the Spaniards. Everton meanwhile have been flying under the radar under Rafa Benitez and their 2-0 win over Norwich was the latest example of their new found efficiency under the Spaniard. The Toffees are missing a number of key players for this one, which should enable United to prevail at home here.

Betting tip: Manchester United to win the match ($1.55)Bet @ Sportsbet

Manchester United to win 3-1

Burnley vs Norwich City – Turf Moor

Burnley ($1.96)

Norwich City ($4.5)

Draw ($3.7)

Two sides looking for their first wins of the campaign face off as Norwich City travel to Burnley. The Clarets picked up an excellent point on the road at Leicester City last time out and look to be a team improving with each game played. Norwich however had no answer for Everton last time out and look to be struggling with life in the Premier League again under Daniel Farke. Both sides will see this as a real opportunity to start putting points on the board, but Burnley have Premier League knowhow and should come through this test.

Betting tip: Burnley to win the match ($1.96)Bet @ Sportsbet

Burnley to win 1-0

Chelsea vs Southampton – Stamford Bridge

Chelsea ($1.41)

Southampton ($10)

Draw ($5.25)

Chelsea will be looking to bounce back from consecutive defeats as they host Southampton. The blues were well beaten by Manchester City last time out in the league, before being outplayed by Juventus in the Champions League. It is not panic stations just yet for the blues however, who take on a Southampton side that have plenty of industry but aren’t too adept at finding the back of the net. This will be an attritional one, with Southampton sure to sit back and defend but Chelsea should have enough fire power to come through here.

Betting tip: Chelsea to win the match ($1.41)Bet @ Sportsbet

Chelsea to win 2-0

Leeds United vs Watford – Elland Road

Leeds United ($1.81)

Watford ($4.9)

Draw ($4)

Leeds will be looking to get their campaign up and running as they take on newly promoted Watford. The Whites haven’t been able to reach the heights of previous seasons so far this year and they will still be reeling from their late loss at the hands of West Ham last weekend. Watford meanwhile have made a strong start to the season and were unlucky not to pick up all three points at home to Newcastle last weekend. This should be an entertaining game, with Leeds most likely to come out as victors.

Betting tip: Leeds to win the match ($1.81)Bet @ Sportsbet

Leeds to win 2-1

Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Newcastle United – Molineux

Wolverhampton Wanderers ($1.71)

Newcastle United ($5.5)

Draw ($4.2)

Wolves will be looking to build on their late win at Southampton as they host Newcastle. Bruno Lage’s men were perhaps a bit fortunate to leave the South Coast with all three points, but they move on and look to be very organised defensively this season. Newcastle United meanwhile have struggled for consistency this season and their lack of points on the board is a concern for Steve Bruce and Toon fans. This looks a tall order in the West Midlands and with confidence flowing within the Wolves squad, this could be a comfortable home win.

Betting tip: Wolves to win the match ($1.71)Bet @ Sportsbet

Wolves to win 2-0

Brighton vs Arsenal – AMEX Stadium

Brighton ($3.15)

Arsenal ($2.63)

Draw ($3.3)

Two sides in good form face off as Brighton host Arsenal. The Seagulls are sitting pretty in 6th in the Premier League table following their last-gasp draw with rivals Crystal Palace on Monday evening. They will be looking to test themselves against an Arsenal side who picked up a superb win over Tottenham last weekend and look to be clicking under the tutelage of Mikel Arteta. This should be a superb game between two sides that look to get the ball down and play, with Arsenal most likely to come out on top.

Betting tip: Arsenal to win the match ($2.63)Bet @ Sportsbet

Arsenal to win 3-1

Crystal Palace vs Leicester City – Selhurst Park

Crystal Palace ($3.2)

Leicester City ($2.4)

Draw ($3.5)

Crystal Palace will be looking to build on some decent recent performances as they take on Leicester City. The Eagles were pegged back by local rivals Brighton in a fiery encounter on Monday night and they will now be looking to take the game to the struggling Foxes. Leicester are yet to win in the Europa League this season and with only two Premier League wins under their belt this season, they look to be some distance off the top 4 currently. This should be a very good game between two organised teams, with a draw looking the most likely outcome.

Betting tip: The match to finish as a draw ($3.5)Bet @ Sportsbet

1-1 Draw

Tottenham vs Aston Villa – Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

Tottenham ($2.18)

Aston Villa ($3.65)

Draw ($3.6)

Struggling Tottenham will be looking to return to winning ways as they take on an Aston Villa side in serious nick. Spurs started the season in fine fettle, winning their first three games but defeats to Crystal Palace, Chelsea and Arsenal has left their start to the campaign looking rather abject. Villa meanwhile arrive in London fresh off the back of a deserved win at Manchester United and Dean Smith looks to have his side firing on all cylinders currently. Spurs should be energised by home support, but Villa are a good side, and the draw could well be on the cards here.

Betting tip: The match to finish as a draw ($3.6)Bet @ Sportsbet

1-1 Draw

West Ham United vs Brentford – London Olympic Stadium

West Ham United ($1.87)

Brentford ($4.9)

Draw ($3.8)

West Ham will be looking to build on their excellent start to the season as they host newly promoted Brentford. The Hammers have impressed in the Premier League and the Europa League and David Moyes looks to have his side purring currently. Similarly, Brentford have settled into life in the Premier League superbly and their draw with Liverpool last weekend was hugely impressive. This should be an excellent game between two sides full of confidence, but West Ham are in good form, and they should prevail here.

Betting tip: West Ham to win the match ($1.87)Bet @ Sportsbet

West Ham United to win 2-1

Liverpool vs Manchester City – Etihad Stadium

Liverpool ($3)

Manchester City ($2.45)

Draw ($3.6)

Two genuine title contenders do battle at Anfield as Liverpool host Manchester City. The reds have looked far more assured in the Premier League this season and despite drawing with Brentford last time out, they look to have a squad capable of mounting a title challenge. City meanwhile showed their knowhow and quality in beating Chelsea last weekend but their midweek defeat to PSG could be on their minds heading into this one. This should be an absolute classic, with the draw looking the most likely outcome.

Betting tip: The match to finish as a draw ($3.6)Bet @ Sportsbet

2-2 Draw
