Heroic vs. c0ntact – Europe

Competing for the first time against each other, Heroic and c0ntact meet on the 30th of November for the first match of the day and the tournament.

Heroic’s best performance is seen at the map Nuke with 15 wins and 5 losses while c0ntact plays best at Mirage with 10 wins and 5 losses, over the past three months.

Heroic’s last match was of the BLAST Premier Fall 2020 Showdown (Quarter-final) tournament against mousesports on the 28th of November. Of the three maps, Mirage, Nuke, and Train, Heroic only won Mirage. The scores of the maps were:

  • Mirage: Heroic – 16 and mousesports – 14
  • Nuke: Heroic – 7 and mousesports – 16
  • Train: Heroic – 8 and mousesports – 16

In the third map, player “frozen” achieve 3 AK HS killed on the bombsite B flank offensive in a 2v3 situation and set their mousesports on a double-digit score after their T side.

c0ntact’s last match was of the Flashpoint 2 tournament against Dignitas on the 14th of November. Here are the scores of the maps that were chosen:

  • Nuke: Dignitas – 16 and c0ntact – 10
  • Dust II: Dignitas – 8 and c0ntact – 16
  • Inferno: Dignitas – 16 and c0ntact – 12

In the third map, player “ottoNd” succeeded in a 1v2 clutch in a CT – post-plant situation to keep c0ntact in the match.

We think everyone’s favorite team Heroic will take this one out – Bet @ Picklebet

Faze Clan vs. Team Spirit – Europe

The #9 world ranking team Faze and the #16 world ranking team Spirit go head to head for the second match of the day.

Spirit’s best maps are Dust II and Train while Faze’s best performance is evident on Train and Mirage.

It surely would be interesting to see them both compete at Train. However, their first match against each other on the 26th of May at the DreamHack Masters Spring 2020 – Europe tournament did include them competing in Train as the first map, the scores follow:

  • Train: Faze – 7 and Spirit – 16
  • Dust II: Faze – 15 and Spirit – 14
  • Nuke: Faze – 19 and Spirit – 17

Team Spirit’s last match was on the 28th of November against Illuminar at the Dreamhack Open November 2020 (semi-final) tournament; where Spirit went home with a victory of 2 – 0 with player “magixx” achieving AWP kills on the bombsite B defense; the scores were:

  • Train: Spirit – 16 and Illuminar – 12
  • Dust II: Spirit – 16 and Illuminar – 9

Meanwhile, Faze’s last match was against MIBR on the 25th of November at the Blast Premier Fall 2020 Showdown tournament. Faze played well but was unable to defeat MIBR in both maps:

  • Nuke: Faze 20 and MIBR – 22
  • Dust II: Faze – 11 and MIBR – 16

Spirit for the win! – Bet @ Picklebet

Astralis vs. GODSENT – Europe

The last match Astralis took part in was against Na’ Vi on the 19th of November at the quarter-finals of the IEM Beijing-Haidian 2020 Europe tournament:

  • Overpass: Astralis – 9 and Na’ Vi – 16
  • Inferno: Astralis – 9 and Na’ Vi – 16

Astralis plays best at Inferno at a rate of 78.6% and 11 wins and only 3 losses but was still defeated by Na’ Vi even though they play worst at Inferno at a rate of 50% with 5 wins and 5 losses.

As for Godsent’s last match, that was against mousesports on the 25th of November at the Blast Premier Fall 2020 Showdown tournament:

  • Inferno: Godsent – 6 and mousesports – 16
  • Train: Godsent – 8 and mousesports – 16

In the second map – Train, player “frozen” achieved a 1v2 clutch in a CT post-plant situation and set mousesports on the match point.

Overpass is Godsent’s best map while it is Astralis’ fifth-best. And Inferno is Astralis’ best map while it is Godsent’s eight best.

Considering that both teams lost their last matches this week, it would be interesting to watch them play against each other. However, we think that Astralis will win – Bet @ Picklebet

Team Liquid vs. mousesports – Europe

Liquid’s last match was against MIBR on the 28th of November at the Blast Premier Fall 2020 Showdown tournament which they won at a score of 2 – 0:

  • Nuke: Liquid – 16 and MIBR – 11
  • Dust II: Liquid – 16 and MIBR – 2

Mousesports’ last match was against Heroic which they won at a score of 2 – 1 at the Blast Premier Fall 2020 Showdown tournament on the 28th.

Liquid and mousesports have gone head to head multiple times; where Liquid won 6 times and mousesports won only once. The remaining three matches were overtimes.

mousesports plays best at Mirage at a rate of 61.0% while Liquid plays at Mirage as their sixth-best map at a rate of 59.0%. Meanwhile, Liquid plays best at Inferno at a rate of 63.9% while mousesports’ rate at the map is 51.4% as their seventh best map.

Even though these Teams don’t seem much different, we think that Liquid will win – Bet @ Picklebet
