Ended We have expert betting tips for the 3M Open this week, where the best player in the world in Scottie Scheffler dominates the betting market.
The American is the firm $3.30 favourite to win his first tournament since January, and the winless streak could end at TPC Twin Cities.
We look at the best 3M Open picks, including our best bet, best roughie, and top 10.
Best Bet
Scottie Scheffler @ $3.30

It’s a case of close but not close enough for Scheffler this season. When he won in January, most fans expected him to keep winning, but that wasn’t the case.
However, he has numerous top five finishes, including last week at the Open Championship, and he faces a much easier field at the 3M Open this week. Hideki Matsuyama is on the second line of betting at $26, so there are light years between them.
Not much needs to change for Scheffler. He is playing well enough to win most weeks, and he just needs to start making more putts and playing better opening rounds. If he’s in contention after Round 1, his odds will firm to around $1.80, so the $3.30 is a fair price from bookmakers.
Best Value Bet
Tom Kim @ $26.00

Tom Kim scored a long overdue win at the Scottish Open, and despite missing the cut last week, he could bounce back with a big performance.
The 24-year-old still has stacks of time on his side, and he’s already a four-time PGA Tour winner. That’s an excellent feat at such a young age, and the South Korean doesn’t get enough credit for that record.
Not much went his way last week at Royal Birkdale when shooting +3. He wasn’t far off making the cut, and the highs of winning the week prior might have had an impact on his game.
Punters get $26 to enjoy with 3M Open odds, so he’s a value bet.
Best Roughie
Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen @ $56.00

Bookmakers might have overlooked how well Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen played at the Open Championship last week, so jump on the $56 odds.
The 27-year-old Dane finished T9 behind Ryan Fox after shooting only even par in the final round, so he could have easily finished higher. He is having a solid year, including a T19 finish at the Byron Nelson and a 19th at the Dubai Invitational in January.
A lack of wins is why he’s paying $56, but after a good showing at Royal Birkdale, we wouldn’t be surprised to see him finish on the first page of the leaderboard.
Next Best
Jake Knapp @ $36.00

It has been a quiet few months of Jake Knapp, but he should appreciate being stateside after missing the cut at the Scottish Open and Open Championship over the last two weeks.
The 32-year-old has one of the best swings on the PGA Tour, and although he’s not in the upper echelon of players, when everything clicks for him, he’s tough to beat.
He won the 2024 Mexico Open by two strokes, and his effort to finish 11th at the Masters this year is credit to his ability. It’s there, and he only needs to regain his confidence to give punters a sight at the 3M Open.
He is being respected in betting markets at $36, so include him in golf picks this week.
Top 10
Keith Mitchell @ $3.75

Keith Mitchell plays his best in tournaments like the 3M Open, and he can’t be overlooked as a top 10 chance.
The American missed the cut last week, but he doesn’t play well outside of the US. He finished T22 at the Travelers and T4 at the U.S. Open at Shinnecock Hills, which is an excellent form guide for this tournament.
Punters get $3.75 for a top 10 result, which is worth taking.
