With Scheffler paying only $4 to win, we’re going with a better value option. Sam Burns is playing better golf than most players in the world, and he posted another top 5 finish last week at the St Jude Championship.

He has been criticised for not having a killer instinct and choking in the final round, but he remains a solid tournament pick, and we’re happy to include him in our golf picks at the current odds.

There are only 50 players in the field, which is likely to condense the scoreboard, and if he’s within a couple of shots of the leaders on Monday morning, he could bury his demons and play best on the back nine.

The $20 odds are generous, so include Burns in golf picks.

Si Woo Kim is another player on the verge of scoring a win during the FedEx Cup Playoffs, having finished second behind Scheffler last week.

He was no match for the American, who scored by eight shots, but he played well in the final round. He shot -2 compared to Scheffler’s -4, but he was too far off the pace before the final round.

Our golf predictions this week have him playing well in the BMW Championship, and the $26 odds don’t reflect how well he’s playing this season.

Collin Morikawa is no longer talked as one of the tournament favourites every week, but the American is getting back to his best.

He used to be the best irons player in the world, and although his confidence levels have taken a dive in recent years, we saw encouraging signs last week. He might have finished T52 in a field of 70, but that was mostly due to a bad weekend.

He wasn’t far away in the first two rounds, and the two-time major winner can’t be discounted as a winning hope. Class is on his side, and he has a win beside his name this year when taking out the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

The $34 with BMW Championship odds are worth including as a value bet.

Ludvig Aberg @ $17.00

It has been an interesting year for Ludvig Aberg, and although he promised to achieve a little more, he has two tournaments left to make an impact.

The Swede is a two-time PGA Tour winner, with his last win coming in 2025. However, he recorded two top 10 finishes in the majors this year at the PGA Championship and The Open, and his other two results were a T21 and T17.

He plays his best golf in big tournaments, so we’re comfortable including him in our golf predictions. He has been well-backed into $17, which is a good sign.

Cameron Young @ $2.10

Cameron Young let us down last week, but he’s a quality player, so we’re not about to drop him just yet.

The American has had a great season, including a win in The Players Championship, and if he’s anywhere near that form, he should figure in the top 10.

The field is smaller this week, so his chances improve, so include the $2.10 in golf multi picks this week.
