We have expert betting tips for the Cadillac Championship this week, which includes some of the best PGA Tour professionals.
At the top of golf betting markets is Scottie Scheffler, who looks to turn around a couple of close finishes to post his second win of the year.
We look at the best Cadillac Championship picks, including our best bet and best roughie.
Best Bet
It’s not surprising to see Scheffler at $3.75. The odds are on the shorter side of value, but after finishing second at The Masters and at the RBC Heritage, it’s about time he won again.
He hasn’t won since his first tournament of the year, which is a long dry spell for the world’s best golfer. However, the course at the Cadillac Championship suits him perfectly, and he could score an easy win this week.
It’s all about how well he starts. He has been getting off to slow starts, so expect Scheffler to play well in the first round and be at the top of the leaderboard for most of the tournament. It’s an important week for him, and the cream rises to the top.
Best Value Bet
Cameron Young has matured into one of the better golfers on the PGA Tour, which is reflected in betting markets.
He’s currently on the second line of betting at $12, and given his form this year, which includes a win at The Players, he demands respect.
He followed that win with a top three finish at Augusta, so he has beaten most of the best players in the world. If he plays anywhere near his best, he should go close to winning, so include him in Cadillac Championship picks.
Best Roughie
We have backed Jake Knapp in almost every tournament this year, and we’re not about to drop him from the stable just yet.
The American has one of the best swings on the PGA Tour, and his results are starting to look good. He finished 11th at The Masters, which was an excellent result, and he’s another player who should be suited by the course at Trump Doral.
Life has not been easy for Knapp over the last year, so we’re rooting for him to secure the victory at generous odds.
Next Best
The odds aren’t massive for Sam Burns at $26, but he is another player with loads of ability.
Burns had a great chance to win The Masters but had to settle for T7 after a poor final round. He should learn from that experience, and he has always had a good mental game. He bounced back with a tidy performance in his most recent tournament, which is good to see.
We would have liked a slightly bigger price for Burns, but he’s one of the best players in the world, so $26 is a fair price.
Top 10
Australia’s own Adam Scott is going about his business in fine style this year, and his experience is enough to cope with the tough Blue Course at Trump Doral.
Scott is a seasoned professional, and although that hasn’t translated into wins recently, he keeps playing well enough to be in contention.
He is always a good top 10 bet due to his consistency, so include him in golf picks at $3.75.
