DP World Tour Dubai Invitational Tips & Predictions
—
Best Bet
McIlroy has a good record for winning tournaments early in the year, which is why he’s the favourite to win the Dubai Invitational.
The Northern Irishman comes off one of the biggest years of his career, having taken out the Masters and Players Championship, and he is playing more freely, having finally completed the grand slam of golf.
We priced McIlroy at $3 to win, and if Fleetwood wasn’t in the field, he would be much shorter with golf odds. We think he’ll just have Fleetwood’s measure, given his experience winning in Dubai, so put him on top of golf picks.

Next Best
Another European coming off a massive year is Fleetwood, who won the season-long FedEx Cup on the PGA Tour. It was a big effort to win the TOUR Championship, and it was a reward for such a consistent year.
Fleetwood is another player who plays well to start the year, and he’s clearly the second-best golfer in the field. The Brit is playing with more confidence than at any point in his career, which is resulting in success.
Punters get $5.50 for Fleetwood to win, and at those odds, he can’t be overlooked.

Best Value Bet
It was good to see Angel Ayora playing in Australia when he could have rested up for a tilt at bigger tournaments in 2026.
The young Spaniard had a breakout 2025, and although he didn’t win a tournament, he kept producing top 10 finishes against tough fields on the DP World Tour, so his day it the sun should come at some point this year.
He won’t have any rust to shake off, and if he’s anywhere near his best, he could score a minor upset in the Dubai Invitational.

Best Roughie
The Kiwi had an excellent end to his 2025, going close in just about every tournament he played, so we can’t leave him out.
We were impressed with not only his driving, but his short game has improved out of sight. He’s holing long putts on a regular basis, which is a recipe for success on the DP World Tour, and he should score a win this year.
The $26 odds are generous, and he has already proven that he can finish ahead of the likes of McIlroy and Fleetwood.

Top 10
We’re picking another Kiwi to have a good tournament. Ryan Fox won twice on the PGA Tour last year, which often goes under the radar.
The big-hitting New Zealander returned to New Zealand to play in an exhibition golf tournament for charity, which he won. That break should have done him some good, but now it’s back to business.
He has played well in Dubai, and getting $3.60 for a top 10 finish is good value. We rated him at $2.60, so take the odds.
