LIV Chicago Tips & Predictions

LIV Chicago Best Bet – Bryson DeChambeau

As he showed when winning the 2024 U.S. Open over Rory McIlroy, DeChambeau is one of the world’s best golfers.

No one can put that past the American, who has been earning a new legion of fans via his YouTube channel.

It’s good to see, but what matters most is his skill, and punters get $8.50 for DeChambeau to win LIV Chicago this week.

The 30-year-old is only a two-time winner on the LIV Tour, but he’s the defending Chicago champion, and he shot –13 to win by one stroke over Marc Leishman and Anirban Lahiri.

His win at the Greenbrier came when he shot 58 on the final day, so his ability to shoot insanely low scores makes him tough to beat.

Take the odds before they shorten throughout the week.

Bet: Bryson DeChambeau @ $8.50

LIV Chicago Best Value – Cameron Smith

Some have criticised Smith for not living up to expectations on the LIV Tour, especially following wins in the Players and Open Championship. However, he’s a three-time winner on the tour.

The 31-year-old Australian hasn’t won in 2024, but he won the 2022 Chicago event by three strokes over Dustin Johnson and Peter Uihlein, so having past experience winning on the course is ideal.

He also won in London and Bedminster last year, so he’s overdue a win, and we’re happy to take the $14.00 odds for a quality player.

A win is just around the corner for Smith, who should get off to a fast start and be near the top of the LIV leaderboard throughout.

Bet: Cameron Smith @ $14.00

LIV Chicago Next Best – Sergio Garcia

We love betting on Spain’s Sergio Garcia, who has already won on the LIV Tour this year.

The legend of the sport won LIV Andalucia in a playoff against Lahiri, which came after shooting 66 on Sunday.

That was a great effort from the 16-time European Tour winner and 12-time PGA Tour winner, so he’s arguably the best player on the tour.

He’s still arguably one of the best players in the world, despite the criticism he gets off the course, but we’re happy to back him on a consistent basis.

Garcia knows what it takes to win tournaments, and punters always get value odds. He’s a $19.00 chance in Chicago, and those odds are too good to pass up.

Bet: Sergio Garcia @ $19.00

LIV Chicago Best Roughie – Dean Burmester

We have backed Bean Burmester a few times this year, and although his recent form in the majors was only fair, he’s a quality player.

The South African looked much better earlier in the year, so if he’s anywhere close to that form, he should go close at LIV Chicago.

He won 2024 LIV Miami when beating Garcia in a playoff, and he finished T12 at the PGA Championship and T19 at the Open Championship.

Those results should be enough to see him compete, and the golf odds of $31.00 are worth snapping up.

Bet: Dean Burmester @ $31.00
