We have expert betting tips for the Memorial Tournament this week, where the PGA Tour stars return for the famous tournament.
Scottie Scheffler is the $4 favourite, but he’s struggling with his game, so it’s a wide-open betting market.
We look at the best Memorial Tournament picks, including our best bet, best roughie, and top 10.
Best Bet
Punters cashed with our Russell Henley bet last week at $12, and we’re going with Rory McIlroy for The Memorial.
The Northern Irishman hasn’t had a busy 2026, but he should return to his best form this week, and this is an ideal tournament for him to showcase his best golf.
It’s one of only a few big tournaments missing from his record, so he’s keen to win, and he has played well over the last couple of years. We think he’s the best golfer in the world right now, so the $12 odds are generous.
Best Value Bet
Speaking of hot golfers; Cameron Young is having a great year. The American, who won PGA Tour Rookie of the Year a couple of seasons ago, won The Players before winning the Cadillac Championship by six strokes over Scheffler.
He finished only T26 at the PGA Championship, but he had a couple of weeks off, and he should be ready to produce the goods at The Memorial Tournament.
We priced Young on the third line of betting, and with Ludvig Aberg taking that spot, punters get much better value at $17.
Best Roughie
Justin Rose plays his best golf in big tournaments, and although The Memorial isn’t a major, it’s a major-like tournament on the PGA Tour.
The British golfer is enjoying a successful season, and punters continue to get value odds. He’s always paying between $50-$80, and he doesn’t get the respect he deserves.
He is a 13-time PGA Tour winner, and his first tour win came in the 2010 Memorial, so he loves the tournament, and he’s worth including in golf picks this week.
Next Best
We can’t see Patrick Cantlay going much longer without winning, and it has been too long for the American.
He’s not the most liked player on the PGA Tour because of his awfully slow playing speed, but he’s still talented, and his recent form has been solid enough to recommend as a betting proposition.
Punters are taking a risk with Cantlay, but he is a player worth following over the next few months, and he’s always lurking near the top of the leaderboard.
Top 10
We cashed with Alex Smalley last week at $4.20, and punters get value odds for Tommy Fleetwood this week at $3.25.
The British golfer is someone punters can trust to have a solid tournament, and although he might not win, he rarely has a bad performance in big tournaments.
Fleetwood is an excellent top 10 bet at the current odds, and he should be priced at around $2.75.
