FedEx St. Jude Championship Tips & Predictions

FedEx St. Jude Championship Best Bet – Xander Schauffele

It has been a big year for Xander Schauffele, who has won two of the four major golf tournaments.

The 30-year-old American wasn’t able to defend his Olympic title when losing to Scheffler, but we think he’s better equipped to win the St. Jude Championship this week.

His form in 2024 has been incredible, winning the PGA Championship and the Open Championship, which are two of the toughest tournaments to win.

There is more emphasis for Schauffele to play well compared to Scheffler, with the latter already holding a sizable lead with FedEx Cup standings.

Therefore, we’re taking Schauffele at the much better price of $8.00 to win.

Bet: Xander Schauffele @ $8.00

FedEx St. Jude Championship Best Value – Ludvig Aberg

We have consistently backed Ludvig Aberg this year, and although he hasn’t been winning recently, he clearly has enough ability to win.

The young Swede missed the cut at the Open Champion when shooting nine over par, but he had a couple of blow out holes.

He needs to eliminate those from his game, which he also had at the Olympics, but the 24-year-old is paying $21.00 to win, and those odds are juicy.

We expect him to be near the top of the FedEx St. Jude Championship leaderboard, so back him to win and to finish in the top five.

Bet: Ludvig Aberg @ $21.00

FedEx St. Jude Championship Next Best – Hideki Matsuyama

We were impressed with Hideki Matsuyama at the Olympics, winning the bronze medal for Japan.

The former Masters winner has been right around the mark in 2024, winning the Genesis Invitational in February by three strokes.

He spaces his wins out, but he is always lurking on the first page of the leaderboard. His confidence levels should be high after the Paris Games, and we’re happy to include him in selections.

Punters get $34.00 for the Japanese superstar, and that represents value. He only needs to drop in a couple of putts and he could take the first-round lead and never look back.

Bet: Hideki Matsuyama @ $34.00

FedEx St. Jude Championship Best Roughie – Wyndham Clark

Bookmakers have fallen out of favour of Wyndham Clark, who was one of the golfers selected to represent USA at the Olympics.

The 30-year-old rose to prominence with three wins in 2023 and 2024, including the Wells Fargo Championship, U.S. Open, and most recently the AT&T Pebble Beach in February.

He hasn’t won since and he shot +16 at the Open Championship, but we believe he can turn that form around and get back to his best.

He finished 14th at the Olympics, which wasn’t a bad effort, and he could draw confidence from that result.

Getting $67.00 for a player of his ability is too good to overlook, and he could surprise a few this week in Memphis.

Bet: Wyndham Clark @ $67.00
