We have expert betting tips for The Masters this week, which is the first and most exciting major golf tournament of the year.
Augusta National hosts the world’s best golfers, headlined by Scottie Scheffler, who aims to win another green jacket in Georgia. However, it’s a quality field, and there could be a minor upset brewing on the links.
Our golf bets this week include our best bet and best value bets for The Masters, where Bryson DeChambeau is our top pick to win.
Best Bet
Bryson DeChambeau is the most polarising golfers in the world, and he’s talented enough to win the 2026 Masters at Augusta.
The LIV golfer has been in excellent form this season, including a playoff win at LIV South Africa, and there is no doubt that he’s the form golfer entering The Masters. His form outshines the likes of Scheffler, who hasn’t played well since winning earlier this season, which is why we have him on top of our golf picks.
The American will have the biggest crowds around him, but he thrives under pressure, and he wants to add another major to his growing list.
Next Best
We backed Ludvig Aberg to win the Valero Texas Open last week, and he looked good when leading in the final round. However, despite not finishing well, he’s still hitting the ball well enough to win the Masters.
He also choked away the Players Championship last month, but the near misses won’t phase him. The Swede has a good mindset, and he has gone awfully close to winning The Masters over the last couple of years.
Augusta National plays into his strengths, and punters get value odds at $18. We priced him at $15, so the golf odds this week are worth taking.
Best Value Bet
Australian’s have a good record playing at The Masters, including the likes of Jason Day, Adam Scott, and Marc Leishman.
We have Min Woo Lee having a good tournament, and although he can be tough to follow at the best of times, the 27-year-old had his best major performance last year when finishing 49th.
That was the only major cut he made in 2025, but he was also a PGA Tour winner at the Houston Open, so his confidence levels coming into The Masters should be high.
We’re happy to back the Aussie at $31, which is another value price from the sportsbook.
Best Roughie
Patrick Cantlay might be the most boring golfer to watch, but he’s due a big performance, and it could come this week.
There was a time when Cantlay was one of the best players in the world after winning six PGA Tour tournaments in two years. His last win came in 2022 at the BMW Championship, and it’s hard to believe that it has been four years since.
He finished T36 at the 2025 Masters, which was the only major cut he made. He enjoys this course, and at $61, we’re taking the risk by including him in our Masters golf picks.
Top 10
Patrick Reed is a golfer fans love to hate, but his form in 2026 has been excellent on the DP World Tour, so he shouldn’t be underestimated.
The former PGA and LIV golfer is making his way back to the PGA Tour, and being a past Masters champion means punters should take him seriously.
There is nothing wrong with the way he has played recently, and he’s sneaking under the radar as a $4.20 chance in top 10 markets. We’re snapping up the value, and he is a good chance of winning The Masters outright at $41.
First Round Leader
There is a lot of volatility with first round leader markets, but we have Tommy Fleetwood playing well in the opening round.
The British golfer had a breakout 2025, and he’s working his way back to winning form over the last few weeks. He finished well in Texas last week, which adds to our confidence levels.
Fleetwood often plays his best golf early in the tournament, so he could shoot around –7 to lead The Masters on Friday.
