We have expert betting tips for the Truist Championship this week, which is a signature event on the PGA Tour.
It’s an open market without Scottie Scheffler, but the three hottest golfers in the world are playing with Rory McIlroy, Matt Fitzpatrick, and Cameron Young.
We look at the best Truist Championship picks, including our best bet and best roughie.
Best Bet
Young was our best value bet at $12 last week, and he didn’t let us down. The American is playing better than most players this year, and his maturity levels are through the roof compared to the last few years on Tour.
The former PGA Tour Rookie of the Year is already a two-time winner in 2026, including The Players Championship in March and the Cadillac Championship last week, where he destroyed the field with a wire-to-wire victory.
Punters get $10 odds, which are generous, and he should give punters a good sight throughout the week.
Best Value Bet
Matthew Fitzpatrick has won the last two tournaments he has played, including the RBC Heritage and the Zurich Classic with brother Alex.
The British golfer is a proven major winner, so he has already beaten the best in the world, and he is another player worth following this year, and he could provide punters with plenty of value.
With a lot of money coming for McIlroy, punters get $15 for players like Fitzpatrick, and we can’t leave him out of our golf picks this week. He’s on fire, and the odds could look silly after the first round on Friday.
Best Roughie
Si Woo Kim has played well recently, including a T4 last week behind Young, and that should give him plenty of confidence.
The 30-year-old South Korean also finished third at the RBC Heritage behind Fitzpatrick, so he’s knocking on the door of an overdue PGA Tour win, having not scored since 2023 at the Sony Open.
Kim was the youngest player to ever win the Players at 21, and although he hasn’t quite fired up since with only two wins since 2017, it’s about time he ended the winless streak. Therefore, we’re taking the $26 on offer with golf odds.
Next Best
We don’t quite understand the odds for Gary Woodland, who miraculously got back to winning form with a win at the Houston Open.
The 41-year-old has come through brain surgery and PTSD from the surgery to win on the PGA Tour, which is a massive accomplishment, and he’s a good chance of winning the Truist Championship this week.
He finished T38 at the Cadillac Championship last week, which followed a T8 at the RBC Heritage, so the form is on the board. We’re loving the $76 odds from bookmakers, so snap up the value.
Top 10
We backed Adam Scott top 10 last week at $3.75 and he didn’t disappoint. The Australian played excellently on the weekend to finish T4, and he could repeat the dose.
He is nearing an overdue PGA Tour win, and because of his experience, he is a good bet for top 10 markets.
The former Masters winner plays with confidence, so include the $3.75 odds in golf bets this week.
