We have expert betting tips for the Zurich Classic of New Orleans this week, which is the first pairs tournament of the year.
Headlining golf betting markets are the Fitzpatrick brothers, who will do well to hold off the dynamic pairing of Brooks Koepka and Shane Lowry.
We look at the best Zurich Classic of New Orleans picks for the unique PGA Tour tournament.
Best Bet
We didn’t expect to see Koepka and Lowry playing together, but with Rory McIlroy taking another week off, Koepka takes over.
The former LIV player has been solid since his return to the PGA Tour. He typically only plays well in big tournaments, but playing at the Zurich Classic makes us believe he wants to get back to his best golf, which is enough to win five majors.
Lowry is also playing well, so it’s a unique but potentially tough pairing to beat, and the $13 odds are worth taking.
Best Value Bet
We can’t leave out the Fitzpatrick brothers, especially with Matthew Fitzpatrick winning the RBC Heritage last week in a playoff against Scottie Scheffler.
Matt and Alex have plenty of experience playing together, and Alex has been playing well enough on the DP World Tour recently. They are the joint favourites for a reason, and they should go close to winning this week.
We expect the $13 odds to firm throughout the week.
Best Roughie
A pairing that could work at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans is Aaron Rai and Sahith Theegala. They are dynamic players when teeing it up solo, and they could make a winning run.
Rai has been quietly going about his business this season, and although he has yet to win, his world ranking is testament to his consistency.
Theegala is a hot or cold player, but if he turns up to play, he can shoot low numbers. It’s a pairing that should work well, so include them in golf picks this week at $20.
Next Best
Keith Mitchell and Brandt Snedeker could make a good pairing this week. Mitchell has been around the mark in 2026, and Snedeker went close to winning the Valspar Championship.
He didn’t play well in the final round when shooting +5, but he was leading after the third round, so we’re giving him another chance. He should feel less pressure playing with Mitchell, who is about as cool as they come.
Punters get $38 odds from bookmakers, so they’re a good value bet.
Top 10
Marco Penge and Matt Wallace have an excellent chance to finish in the top 10, and the odds are much better than expected.
Penge showed his worth on the DP World Tour before coming to the PGA Tour, and he has held himself well. The same goes for Wallace, who hasn’t done much wrong since coming stateside.
The $3 for a top 10 finish is a value price with the sportsbook, so snap up the odds.
