Albion Park Greyhound Racing Tips
Race 1. 6.46PM TAB Long May We Play Novice – 520 metres
#6 Bad and Boujee – $6 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Not sure how this dog hasn’t won more races yet, has loomed up on multiple occasions just to find one better and run into a dead end.
His one negative is his box manners especially here at Albion Park don’t expect him to be leading, but if he gets around the corner will come into the race in a big way near the line.
Race 2. 7.04PM Asset Body Corporate Bribie Island Novice – 520 metres
#1 Hondo Herrera – $6 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Another at a good each-way price, the Darren Russell trained dog was brilliant on debut at Ipswich winning in 30.82, subsequently had no luck here a couple of weeks ago in a Novice but comes up with the red here.
Used the rail like a professional last time and should do so again, even if he’s beaten looks a safe place bet.
Race 3. 7.25PM Garrard’s Horse and Hound Masters – 520 metres
#5 It Ain’t Lionel – $6 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Was impressive first time back over the five hundred metres at Albion park in some time last week, had to trek wide the trip from the eight and was still coming home well.
Will have to overcome the squeeze draw but can fly the lids on his night, attractive price.
Race 4. 7.46PM Borgbet Tipping Service Grade 5 – 520 metres
#6 It’s a Trick – $3.30 – Bet @ Sportsbet
This veteran has been drinking from the fountain of youth, well over four years of age has run some impressive placings his last couple of starts and is getting back to his sub forty-two second form.
Should be out the back for most of the race here and if the leaders tire will be there to pounce.
Race 5. 8.10PM Box 1 Photography Free for All – 395 metres
#2 Tequila Talking – $8 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Racing in the best form of his career against similar company despite a lack of good box draws, should appreciate having the two, not the quickest early but can find a spot and drive the rail.
If he can be mid-field has the ability to pick of runners one by one on the fence.
Race 6. 8.28PM Fabregas @ Meticulous Lodge Grade 5 – 520 metres
#7 Battle – $5 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Speed to burn from the wide draw, runs a perfect straight line to the first corner and un-checked can skip clear with a slick second sectional.
Has had trouble finishing races off when crowded but if he gets on the bunny is a different dog, valiant runner-up last time came go one better.
Race 7. 8.49PM Sky Racing Grade 5 – 520 metres
#8 Barsandi – $4 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Has a perfect three for three record from box eight racing at home down in Lismore but is yet to show the early speed here at Albion Park.
Banking on the penny dropping soon because his Northern Rivers form is excellent and if he can be close to them can run home in 12.50, one part of a very strong staying litter.
Race 8. 9.13PM Borgbet Tipping Service Grade 4 – 520 metres
#3 Kooringa Lucy – $2.90 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Much anticipated return to Albion Park after a season, has had one run back winning in style at Lismore and loves it here, has won in 29.69 in the past.
Was in great six hundred metre form before she was tipped out, knows how to find the fence and is strong through the line.
Race 9. 9.34PM Sennachie @ Stud Steve White Best 8 – 520 metres
#6 Sequana – $1.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Albion Park’s second fastest bitch ever has returned better than ever after a season, she beat All Hands Off first up and then got across from the eight last week and gave them wind burn winning in 29.68 on a night the track wasn’t running fast time.
Always a slight question mark at the jump, but these small fields suit her down to a tee, look for her to loom up to Mitchell Street on the home turn and go straight by, watch the clock.
Race 10. 9.52PM Orsen Allen @ Stud Grade 5 – 520 metres
#3 Feel the Beat – $2.70 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Potential star looks to have found his feat again after a slight drop off after the Vince Curry series where he was unbeaten until the final when scratched with kennel cough.
Gives up experience here but draws well and with a 5.47 first section should find himself on the lure and running time, a lot of these have reached their peak.
Race 11. 10.10PM Sell Your Car @ Motorhub Grade 5 – 520 metres
#4 Frankie Da Silva – $5 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Was a top class straight track dog at Capalaba for a long time, used to rattle home with the fastest closing sectional always looking like he wanted further.
In three runs at the track has managed two minors in good time, if his compass is on he’s better than these.
