#2 Magic Prince – $2.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet
After a strong first up third placing went even better second time of asking breaking thirty seconds 29.94 in just his second race start.
A member of a gun litter who are showing promise across the board, he’s been held back and looks to have hit the track at full maturity, should be winning this.
Race 2. 7.04PM Borgbet Tipping Service Grade 5 – 520 metres
#6 Johnny Hot Feet – $6 – Bet @ Sportsbet
The whole Darren Johnstone kennel are on fire at the moment including this dog who’d won three on the trot until an unlucky runner-up here last week.
Is only moderately served at box rise but if he finds a spot can motor down the back and pick them up on the run home.
Race 3. 7.25PM Formula Interiors Grade 5 – 520 metres
#3 Brother Jason – $2.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Always a slight risk with this dog given how green he still is but no-one questions his ability, was a touch flat returning from Melbourne last week but flew up the Capalaba straight on Sunday and should be ready to go.
Big tick with the draw needs a bit of time to gather himself but should be able to drive through and be handy in the run.
Race 4. 7.46PM Box 1 Photography Best 8 – 520 metres
#6 Not Out Cloud – $8 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Gavin Lowe’s dogs are always powerful sprinters, this dog will need some luck to the first turn but if he gets around in the front half watch out late.
A five-time winner from thirteen starts here is not as brilliant as a Sequana but is honest as anything and always comes up a backable price.
Race 5. 8.10PM Fabregas @ Meticulous Lodge Free for All – 710 metres
#5 Burnt Ends – $2.20 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Had a pair of slick Albion Park seven hundred metres wins to his name before lucking out at the Group One Association Cup Heats in Sydney last week.
Was set for that race and should come back to familiar surrounds with good fitness, if he can lead Smart Lily early he goes a long way to winning.
Race 6. 8.28PM Sky Racing Grade 5 – 600 metres
#7 Ninetymile King – $2.30 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Drawn where he wants to be out in the seven, will give them a start around the first turn but makes up ground for fun in the run to the post and will be as strong as anything to the line.
Is three from three since stepping up to the six hundred and should go quicker than the 34.81 he managed last time out.
Race 7. 8.49PM Borgbet Tipping Service Mixed ¾ – 515 metres
#3 Werina Express – $2.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Can sometimes run out of gas late but if one of the quickest dogs in the state through the first two sections and from a low draw should be off and gone here.
A seven-time winner from twenty-one starts he knows how to find the line and can go down around the 29.7 mark at his best.
Race 8. 9.13PM TAB Easter Trophy Grade 5 Final – 520 metres
#3 Enthusiastic – $3.30 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Has turned the corner over the last month a winner of four of his last six is seemingly getting better every week evidenced with a 29.83 heat win last week.
Has been boxing much better and should get a nice trail behind the one and knows how to take a rails run.
Race 9. 9.34PM Sennachie @ Stud Steve White Grade 5 – 520 metres
#2 Pokie Payout – $2.90 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Was stuck five wide at the first turn from box eight last week and was shunted to the tail, chased home as hard as ever and back to an inside draw looks the one to beat.
Recently ran 30.14 and 30.30 off box one at Ipswich, if she’s able to bring anywhere near that form she’ll be setting a new personal best and gapping these.
Race 10. 9.55PM Orsen Allen @ Stud Grade 5 – 520 metres
#3 Hopeful Cyndie – $5 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Has her limitations as a race bitch but maps to get a really nice run here and in fifth grade company has proved to be more than competitive just missing out in last weeks Easter Trophy Heats.
Before that run was a two-time winner at Ipswich over the four hundred and five hundred showing great early acceleration, if she can cross the two early here goes a long way to winning this race.
Race 11. 10.19PM Sell Your Car @ Motorhub Masters – 520 metres
#8 It Ain’t Lionel – $7 – Bet @ Sportsbet
A genuine knockout hope in the last, Spring Chatter in box four have been dominating this grade running 5.6 early and setting up a lead, she won’t get that with It Ain’t Lionel.
He’s run some serious time at Ipswich over the shorts and is sharp as anything out of the lids, should spear across and give these something to chase.
