Albion Park Greyhound Racing Tips

Race 1. 6.44PM Box 1 Photography Novice – 520 metres

#3 Beg Pardon – Bet Now

Impressive maiden winner last time out very professional for a young dog, found his spot around the first turn and clocked some nice sectionals en route to the comfortable win.

Before that form behind Eric Thomson runner up Cool Hand Luke and winner Libby’s Girl looks spot on for this, moving closer to the fence with box three should only help too.

Race 2. 7.04PM Garrard’s Horse and Hound Novice – 520 metres

#5 Mayoress – Bet Now

Has burned punters in the past but is not worth sacking yet after a couple of subpar runs, is still chasing well and not getting beaten by big margins just has to recapture that 5.52 first section.

There’s not much speed to overcome here the Scott kennel would have been working overtime of those box manners, expect her to break her novice this week.

Race 3. 7.25PM Asset Body Corporate Bribie Island Grade 5 – 520 metres

#3 Love Game – Bet Now

Getting really close to a win a string of three seconds in good time behind some handy dogs Opal prince, Kiss An’ Roll and Tribal Magic reads well and in good time too a best of 30.10.

Has to make the most of the start not a brilliant beginner but has a chance to challenge for the lead and Rattle the Gate who has the strength advantage will have to do it the tough way from the back again, good each way claims.

Race 4. 7.49PM MPSANITIZE.COM.AU Grade 5 – 520 metres

#7 Shilo – Bet Now

Sequana is likely to go around at a very short price here and unless you like backing $1.10 favourites you might want to look elsewhere with exotics or play the place pool with Shilo.

As honest as they come over the 600, led Sequana up last start and was only beaten a length and a half.

She can lead again from the seven and with a best of 34.89 here even if Sequana gets the better of her place pools should be reasonable.

Race 5. 8.10PM GPP Laser 3300 Mixed 3/4 – 520 metres

#4 Jasper The Jet – Bet Now

Has been freshened up by trainer John Catton at Capalaba after a busy winter campaign where he mixed it in Group company and was far from outclassed.

Meets another star here in All Hands Off undefeated at track and trip, but will be doing it tough from box eight, if Jasper rattles off his 5.4 early sectional he’s likely to get a good break on the second favourite one she can’t bridge.

Race 6. 8.34PM Queensland Distance Championship Prelude – 710 metres

#3 Classy Ethics – Bet Now

Group One Queensland Cup champion made it tough on herself last week didn’t get the normal flying start giving Big Boy Bruce north of five lengths mid race.

Closed down that margin by the home turn and looked the winner when a run presented up the inside but bumped with the leader allowing Rasheda to swamp them both.

Drawn much closer to the rail will challenge Big Boy Bruce for the lead again while other chances Velocity Bettina and Rasheda have tough draws in seven and six.

Race 7. 8.56PM Queensland Sprint Championship Heat 1 Open – 520 metres

#8 Federal Morgan – Bet Now

Beaten by a good one in All Hands Off last week, will only be better for the experience got it wrong at the start where he usually explodes and looks the likely leader if he gets back to his lid pinging ways this week.

Stinger Noir is top opposition coming off a 29.74 best last week but has an awkward draw in the six and will have to do all the chasing if Federal Morgan or others lead him early.

Race 8. 9.20PM Queensland Sprint Championship Heat 2 Open – 520 metres

#1 Oh Mickey – Bet Now

Has gone under at some short quotes lately but is near on unbeatable here from the inside, even if he misses it half a length has the acceleration to hunt up and put a serious time on the board.

Special Cyndie in the four in the only other dog who’s run similar time to him and is a moderate beginner and Oh Mickey doesn’t get run down from behind.

An Oh Mickey, Sequana multiple may help with a little more value.

Race 9. 9.38PM Orsen Allen @ Stud Grade 5 – 600 metres

#1 Winlock Power – Bet Now

Big winner at Bundaberg on Monday over the 550 metres earlier this week ran some serious time and won by a big margin, before that raced over the 630 at Ipswich where he just got a bit tired late.

The 600 metres at Albion from box one looks ideal for in in form and fit dog, there is always the question of how he will go first time from the six hundred metres boxes but having the rail is a big help here, he should be forward early and take catching.

Race 10. 10.01PM Fabregas @ Meticulous Lodge Masters – 520 metres

#4 Infrared Lad – Bet Now

Group Class dog remarkably gets in at master’s level again and looks the good thing of the night along with Oh Mickey and Sequana.

Got back to sixth early three starts ago in this class but got motoring mid-race and did it easy in the end, won’t be the easiest watch but class should take him all the way here.

Race 11. 10.21PM Sennachie @ Stud Steve White Masters – 520 metres

#1 Run With Girl – Bet Now

Scored at cricket score odds two starts ago in 30.33, 5.55 to the first mark, that form should stack up well here with no challengers for early speed and box one look for her to go forward and be the one to catch.

Are Jay Lochie and Sonic Boom and a couple that will be running on , but Mako mac is the only other early speed and has not been racing well of late, top pick.

Race 12. 10.41PM TAB Long May We Play

#1 Barcol Boy – Bet Now

Professional race dog doesn’t do a whole lot wrong, won’t blow you away with any particular section, but sticks to the rail knows how to get around a dog and runs out the 520 metres well.

Can jump and lead these or sit just behind the speed and run on very versatile.
