Albion Park Greyhound Racing Tips
Race 1. 6.16PM TAB Long May We Play Novice – 520 metres
#7 Nando Dreamer – Bet @ Sportsbet
Started his career off with a bang winning in 30.11 in the heats of the Dave Brett Memorial, ran a gallant second to Cash View last week in 30.08 and went close to crossing him early from a tough box six draw.
This is a giant class drop and although he might not lead, he’s stronger than these over the trip.
Race 2. 6.37PM Sennachie @ Stud Queensland Derby G2 H1 – 520 metres
#1 Major Major – Bet @ Sportsbet
Incredible resume at his age has won twenty-two races the latest of them coming at Angle Park and the Meadows in open company where he beat home boom West Australian Tommy Shelby.
Only downside is he’s travelled a lot lately, but if he handles the track his wins here.
Race 3. 6.55PM Sennachie @ Stud Queensland Derby G2 H2 – 520 metres
#6 Farmor Beach – Bet @ Sportsbet
Another one that will come up as a short-priced favourite, but he well and truly deserves it, the multiple Group winner has been on a tear at track and trip and is arguably the best chaser in Queensland.
He should go forward and begin to dictate terms the further the race goes, possible multi with Major Major.
Race 4. 7.19PM Sennachie @ Stud Queensland Derby G2 H3 – 520 metres
#5 Speranza – Bet @ Sportsbet
Has been the quiet achiever slowly building am impressive record at track and trip, his accolades include three sub thirty wins in the last few months with a 29.69 best.
The start is all important here, if he’s in the first three going down the back he closes off like a six hundred metre dog.
Race 5. 7.37PM Fabregas @ Stud Bogie Leigh Futurity G2 H1 – 520 metres
#7 Crazy Cool – Bet @ Sportsbet
Should get a lovely cart across with Libby’s Girl who’ll head for the fence out of the boxes, recent form has been outstanding in Open Company only beaten by the likes of Hara’s Panda and Farmor Beach.
Has a 5.5 early section and backs it up with a run home which saw her go 29.75 here a month ago.
Race 6. 7.58PM Fabregas @ Stud Bogie Leigh Futurity G2 H2 – 520 metres
#2 Mayoress – Bet @ Sportsbet
Another who’s been racing dogs well above her age and experience level and fitting right in, she was a slashing winner in the Ipswich Cup Heats and draws inside for the first time in a while which will only help her front running style.
Pump It in box one has a big engine but won’t be able to go with Mayoress early, if she leads around the turn she wins.
Race 7. 8.22PM Borgbet Tipping Service Free for All – 710 metres
#8 Micks Recall – Bet @ Sportsbet
Lived up to all expectations upon her seven hundred metre debut here last week, she was well into stride and quickly took over from Aristocratic Gal mid race clocking 41.87.
Is as powerful as they come in the middle to latter stages of her races and even a bitch like Frieda Las Vegas who makes her seven hundred debut will struggle to go with her.
Race 8. 8.43PM Garrard’s Horse and Hound Best 8 – 520 metres
#7 Limited Edition – Bet @ Sportsbet
She’s a bitch that seems to rise to the quality of her opposition and she has some fierce rivals here, Sequana, It Ain’t Billy, Shakey Diesel to name a few.
Loves a wide alley and consistently runs in the 5.4 range to the first mark, she looks the likely leader and if Sequana gets in traffic she’s great value.
Race 9. 9.08PM Asset Body Corporate Bribie Island grade 5 – 600 metres
#8 Maggie Moo Moo – Bet @ Sportsbet
The eight is often the death draw over the six hundred metres but not for this bitch who doesn’t mind running wide around the corner and down the home straight with a big motor at the back end of her races.
Coming off a 630-metre win at Ipswich where she ran the seventh quickest time ever over the trip.
Race 10. 9.31PM Box 1 Photography Mix 4/5 – 520 metres
#6 Shorino – Bet @ Sportsbet
Should get all kinds of space early with Xella Angel in five heading for the rail and Open My Mail using plenty of the track outside him.
Very track savvy can sit a few wide at the first turn and hook out down the back powering over the top of them.
Race 11. 9.47PM Borgbet Tipping Service Grade 5 – 520 metres
#7 Hello Mavis – Bet @ Sportsbet
Has quietly finished fifth in the Group Two Lismore Cup Final and backed it up running second in the Group Three Lismore Cup Final.
Hasn’t been in Queensland for long but has put 29.92 on the board at Albion and is a three-time Wentworth Park winner before joining the O’Reilly kennel, six career wins from box seven.
Race 12. 10.03PM Motorhub Grade 5 – 520 metres
#1 Lottie’s Beach – Bet @ Sportsbet
Looks a special here, is four from four when jumping from the red in his career and ran a bold race after missing the kick last week running on into second.
Before that had been scorching over the 395 metres, should just burn them off here.
