Progeny of Champagne Sally comes up at a big price in a wide open Novice, was a close up fourth to litter mate Out of Champagne last start and if she finds space early will beat them late.
Ran 30.40 in defeat only needs to improve a couple of lengths to be winning this, well within her capabilities.
Race 2. 6.42PM Sennachie @ Stud Steve White Grade 5 – 520 metres
#1 Spotted Elk – $3.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Drawn for success here he’s a jump and run type and box one suits perfectly, won here in 29.97 from this same draw and should easily hold up here with no pace outside.
Is getting stronger with each look and on what’s going to be a fast deck may be too hard to catch if he gets a lead.
Race 3. 7.04PM Kyle and Pals at The Dogs Grade 4 – 520 metres
#5 Frog’s Hollow- $8 – Bet @ Sportsbet
As honest as they come, won’t break the clock but is always up there early and gets the ideal trail across with Mitchell Street in box four, is running out his races much stronger too.
There are quicker dogs here but none more professional and capable of running a race at the juicy quote.
Race 4. 7.22PM Box 1 Photography Free for All – 600 metres
#6 Paw It On – $3 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Equalled the first section record and flew away down the back in a similar race to this a fortnight ago, third up over six hundred should know how to pace himself a bit better.
Is two from two over the trip with a 34.77 personal best on debut, he’s a dog going places fast over the middle-distance.
Rave 5. 7.43PM Mick Byrne Memorial Novice Final – 520 metres
#2 I’m Explosive – $3.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Has lived up to his name his last couple of starts, exploded out to win in 30.33 at Ipswich a time that Free for All dogs would be happy with and was good enough to transfer that form to Albion Park in the heats of this race.
Is drawn to lead again and has the quickest first sectional which is often crucial in these juvenile races.
Race 6. 8.07PM TAB Queensland Cup Group One Final – 710 metres
#5 Sir Truculent -$7 – Bet @ Sportsbet
A must have if you’re playing each-way, this week will be tougher after a dominant heat win from box one but third up in Queensland he’ll be peaking and has the versatility to go forward or back early.
Is the veteran of the field, no-one has run more seven hundred races than him, he’s ready for his maiden Group One.
Race 7. 8.28PM Sell Your Car @ Motorhub Mixed 4/5 – 520 metres
#3 Aston Fastnet – $2.10 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Was desperately unlucky in his Brisbane Cup heat last week just couldn’t find clear galloping room to unleash his massive run home, kept finding trouble.
This is a lot easier, there’s no pace in the one or two, he can take control early and if he doesn’t has the engine to run them down.
Race 8. 9.13PM Sky Racing Brisbane Cup Final Group One – 520 metres
#4 Equalizer – $4.60 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Has been utterly dominant in his two Queensland runs managing to put himself in the front half of the field before unleashing his explosive run home.
Is drawn perfectly to do something similar here, with the pace inside should drop to the fence and save ground early, if he’s not held up at any stage only Shima Shine can beat him.
Race 9. 9.36PM Borgbet Tipping Service Free for All – 520 metres
#4 Kooringa Lucy – $1.90 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Despite the odds on quote may well be the bet of the night, was inconvenienced by a wide draw in her Brisbane Cup heat and made up lengths in the run home.
Small field here should suit perfectly look for her to hunt for the rails and rattle off some silly sections on her way home.
Race 10. 9.59PM Garrard’s Horse and Hound Grade 5 – 520 metres
#4 Hear the Bells – $7 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Is finally making a habit of winning after running copious amounts of placings early in his career, is a well rounded chaser, jumps well, consolidates and has a kick late.
In a wide open field coming off a win on Monday he looks as good a chance as any here, even if he doesn’t get up and salute is an each-way special.
Race 11. 10.22PM Orsen Allen @ Stud Master’s – 520 metres
#3 Sprightly Bro – $3.80 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Needs an inside draw and gets it here, the only other occasion he drew inside was first up where he held them out and was beaten by a head.
No pace inside him here he can take the front and with fitness in his legs see the trip out.
Race 12. 10.37PM Fabregas @ Meticulous Lodge Masters – 520 metres
#1 Lucky Jock – $5 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Box one specialist who looks the leader or will get the sit Behind Oodles of Noodles which he has the strength advantage on.
Broke thirty consistently in his prime here and can wins back the clock from his favourite box.
