Albion Park Greyhound Racing Tips
Race 1. 6.24PM Sky Racing Novice – 520 metres
#7 Easy Does It – $2.90 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Can often take young chasers a few dress rehearsals before winning their Novice and this dog has had that finishing second behind Champagne Jazzy last week.
Held that bitch to a good margin in the run just needs to find safe passage across from the seven and he looks the strongest commodity.
Race 2. 6.41PM Sennachie @ Stud Steve White Grade 5 – 710 metres
#3 Pump It – $3.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Trainer Mark Saal is sticking strong with this bitch over the seven hundred and it looks only a matter of time until she breaks through.
Has found herself well back in fields when she’s used to being a front runner, from a good gate here can challenge Barsandi early and run her best race yet at the trip.
Race 3. 7.04PM Lawrence and Hanson Salisbury Grade 5 – 520 metres
#6 Jigsaw Joe – $8 – Bet @ Sportsbet
A member of a very handy Fernando Bale/Jeannie Dreaming litter who are doing good things, trainer John Dart won here with litter brother Dreamy Dan last week.
This dog hasn’t done as much racing here but has been trialling well and looks ready to make a statement at the race track.
Race 4. 7.25PM Box 1 Photography Mixed ¾ – 520 metres
#2 It Ain’t Billy – $7 – Bet @ Sportsbet
On the comeback from a spell his best is far too good for these, is used to racing in free for all company and running as quick as 29.7.
His Monday run was a complete forgive, but last Thursday’s run showed plenty of promise getting well back and rattling home, always finds a few more lengths off an inside box draw.
Race 5. 7.49PM Eric Thomson Memorial Final – 520 metres
#7 Hara’s Hunter – $6 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Has a 5.5 first section up his sleeve which these young chasers simply can’t match, he looks the clear leader from box seven and has a slippery second section to go with his first.
There are some strong dogs in this field with the right run will chase him down, but there’s a high chance of trouble behind he looks the each-way play.
Race 6. 8.10PM Borgbet Tipping Service Grade 5 Final – 520 metres
#4 Spotted Elk – $4 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Has just begun to blossom into a serious race bitch, winning her last three starts at track and trip improving on the clock every time and winning from different positions.
She maps to get a trail on Release the Rage here who’s getting better but doesn’t have as many tools as her at this stage.
Race 7. 8.34PM Garrard’s Horse and Hound Master’s Final – 520 metres
#2 Security Code – $2.70 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Returned from a six month spell in style last week easily the quickest heat winner going 30.01 with a scorching run home, has previously won city races in Melbourne.
Has pulled up a treat and stripped fitter this week, should secure a beautiful trail behind kennel mate Made In America who’ll lead but will be on tired legs late, possible kennel quinella.
Race 8. 8.55PM Orsen Allen @ Stud Free for All – 600 metres
#6 Micks Recall – $2.80 – Bet @ Sportsbet
This bitch had a well deserved week off after finishing third in the Group One Queensland Cup, drops back to the six hundred here where she historically begins much better and is suited to the wide draw.
If she’s anywhere near them down the back has the talent to pull three wide and round them up in one foul swoop.
Race 9. 9.19PM Fabregas @ Meticulous Lodge Grade 5 – 520 metres
#3 Champagne Jazzy – $2.30 – Bet @ Sportsbet
It’s not easy to go from a Novice win straight into a fifth grade contest, but this bitch from this litter has the ability to do it.
Was flawless winning from box one last week in thirty seconds flat, if she’s able to go with them to the first turn is extremely strong down the back and on the way home.
Race 10. 9.40PM Borgbet Tipping Service Mixed 4/5 – 520 metres
#1 Strategise – $3.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Comes up with the coveted red rug where he seems to always find a few more lengths, his best first section 5.56 and fastest run 30.16 both coming from this draw.
Is young and still learning but has managed to win three races at the track and trip in the process, confidence is high and this is not a strong field.
Race 11. 10.05PM TAB Long May We Play Master’s – 520 metres
#1 Galway Johann – $6 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Was very good last week, just slightly missed the kick costing himself a place in the master’s final a couple of lengths off Made in America.
With no early speed in this race he can take the mantle at the first turn and dictate terms to his rivals.
Race 12. 10.23PM Asset Body Corporate Bribie Island Master’s – 520 metres
#6 Peter Talks – $4 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Is racing himself back into some very solid form, was another who finished third in last week’s heats to miss out on the final but will benefit from the run against a weaker field here.
Has showed great turn of foot out of the lids and should set up camp out in front and is getting stronger with every run.
