Albion Park Greyhound Racing Tips

Race 1. 6.44PM Sennachie @ Stud Steve White Novice – 520 metres

#8 Mayoress – $3 – Bet Now

Deserves another chance after missing the kick for the first time in her career last week, promising sign to still see her chase them all the way home cutting the gap to a length on the line in 30.30.

Box eight here is not a disadvantage her most complete performance came from the seven where she ran a nice straight line to the lead and looks like she can do it again here.

Race 2. 7.07PM Orsen Allen @ Stud Master’s – 520 metres

#1 Copy Workshop – $3.50 – Bet Now

Gets in really well in Master’s Grade here, just has not been able to draw a box lately in tougher races stuck out in six, seven and eight hasn’t been able to get a foot hold in the race.

He’s a multiple time winner here from inside and Warren Nicholls always keeps his Master’s dogs ticking along nicely, should punch up the rail early and be hard to catch.

Race 3. 7.25PM Asset Body Corporate Bribie Island Grade 5 – 710 metres

#5 Rough Nut – $5 – Bet Now

A hell of a lot better than his record shows, got back in five hundred metre races a lot early in his career which knocked him around but has found a home over the distance.

In a similar race a month ago he loomed to go straight past Group One runner Mahogany row but was checked out of it, in a moderate event he’s a good each way play.

Race 4. 7.49PM Garrard’s Horse and Hound Mixed 4/5 – 520 metres

#7 All Hands Off – $4 – Bet Now

Brilliant young bitch, ten wins from fourteen career starts including three from three at track and distance with a 29.80 best.

Comes back to Queensland for the first time in a while with borders re-opening from NSW and with a lot of the other fancied runners inside should be able to mind her own business from box seven and run some really nice time.

Race 5. 8.10PM Eric Thomson Memorial Final – 520 metres

#4 Cool Hand Luke – $2.70 – Bet Now

Another gun pup from the in-form Jeff Crawford kennel who looks to have a big future, the trainer had been holding him back for this race and the timing looks perfect after a 30.11 romp to win his heat.

Showed great acceleration out of box six on that occasion and no reason he can’t do it again from the four, biggest challenger will have to overcome box eight.

Race 6. 8.34PM TAB Long May We Play Free For All – 600 metres

#8 Big Boy Bruce – $3.30 – Bet Now

Hoping his brother Techno Hornet in box seven can do some heavy lifting early here for him, loves to crash to the fence and should take a few out giving Big Boy Bruce some space at the start.

He only needs to be in the front half of the field around the first corner to be in business, has proven himself over the seven hundred and will be coming home strong.

Race 7. 8.58PM Fabregas @ Meticulous Lodge Mixed 2/3 – 520 metres

#3 Limited Edition – $2.50 – Bet Now

Talented bitch ran the race of her life last week straight to the front from box six on the way to a hot 29.73 time.

Moves back to Best 8 Company where she’s struggled in the past, but this is a much weaker race with a lot of rivals involved in Ipswich Young Guns Saturday night.

Should be able to camp on or lead Dervando early and is too strong in the middle stages and home.

Race 8. 9.20PM Racing Queensland Master’s Final – 520 metres

#6 Regal Opal – $3.50 – Bet Now

Graded excellently for this event and returned from injury in style last week first out and first home in 30.19 and Stella expects her only to tighten up from that run.

The draw shouldn’t bother her, if she nails it and goes 5.49 early, she should lead, get away from them and win.

Race 9. 9.40PM Pacers & Chasers Grade 5 – 520 metres

#8 Javens – $9 – Bet Now

Member of an impressive KC and All/Reshuffle litter with a big motor just has to find the right race to use it in and looks a top each way chance in a wide-open affair here.

Isn’t the quickest early but neither are those to her immediate inside, while Farmor Watch Me should encroach on the inside brigade from box five.

She has won from box eight before and with a best of 30.07 can sit mid-field and mow these down.

Race 10. 10.01PM GPP Laser 3300 Grade 5 – 520 metres

#3 Open My Mail – $7 – Bet Now

A dog racing in the best form of his life, last two starts were a 30.12 win and 30.14 third placing from similar boxes.

Very balanced chaser, no sectionals that jump off the page but doesn’t have a weakness either, in a race without a clear leader he should be able to sit on the speed as he did last start and finish over the top, price looks generous.

Race 11. 10.21PM MP Sanitize Grade 5 – 520 metres

#4 Tribal Magic – $4 – Bet Now

Another from Fred Swain’s Northern River’s kennels that looks the real deal, only got one look at Albion when checked out of the race early in March.

Since then has compiled six wins and four minors running some real time over the five hundred metres at Lismore, doesn’t mind a middle box and should be angling for his first Queensland win.
