Albion Park Greyhound Racing Tips
Race 1. 6.35PM Borgbet Tipping Service Novice – 520 metres
#7 Just a Sort – $4 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Looks well suited out here in box seven, was a winner on debut in 30.38 comfortably holding Strategize who’s drawn on his outside here.
Has found trouble at the first turn in his subsequent two runs but with no speed either side should be able to find himself prominent at the turn and find winning form.
Race 2. 6.52PM The TAB Dashing Corsair Listed Heat 1 – 710 metres
#7 Bad and Boujee – $21 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Maggie Moo Moo demands clear favouritism after her fourth in the Group One Sandown Cup, but this bitch has quietly put two quality runs together here at home.
Expect her to be in the back half early but she can run all day and is a must when it comes to each-way and trifecta punters.
Race 3. 7.10PM The TAB Dashing Corsair Listed Heat 2 – 710 metres
#3 Zipping Niseko – $2.10 – Bet @ Sportsbet
A deserved favourite for this event, the star New South Wales chaser stayed at home to prepare for the Queensland Carnival when others went to Victoria.
Her form was unmatched there and with good early dash she should find herself on the speed here with a clear experience advantage over the other speed dogs.
Race 4. 7.34PM TAB Flying Amy Classic Group 2 Heat 1 – 520 metres
#7 Jungle Deuce – $4 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Somehow got out to $7 at the jump of the Inaugural running of The Fox at Dubbo last week where he pinged the lids to lead home kennel mate Irinka Riley for his second feature win.
Trialled well here two weeks ago going 29.86, is as strong as anything on the run home, so it’s great he’s jumping as well.
Race 5. 7.55PM TAB Flying Amy Classic Group 2 Heat 2 – 520 metres
#8 Louis Rumble – $7 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Ran second to Jungle Deuce at Wentworth Park when he won the New Sensation and while his form hasn’t been as good since he looks one win off getting back to his best.
Has raced well from box eight here in the past carrying good speed around the first turn and sustaining his pace down the back.
Race 6. 8.19PM TAB Flying Amy Classic Group 2 Heat 3 – 520 metres
#2 Do It – $5 – Bet @ Sportsbet
One of a couple of talented Victorians here, but he gets the not ahead of Qwara Bale with a nice inside draw.
Just two runs ago ran a sizzling 29.15 at Sandown Park before running second behind Qwara Bale in the Group One only three lengths off her, looks the value each-way.
Race 7. 8.40PM TAB Flying Amy Group 2 Heat 4 – 520 metres
#2 Lakeview Walter – $3.30 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Big long striding dog who should be suited to the Albion Park circuit, has been in Queensland preparing for this assignment for a couple of weeks trialled well in the lead up.
Has an immaculate record from the inside boxes and even if he doesn’t lead should be stalking the speed and making big bounds late.
Race 8. 9.04PM TAB Flying Amy Classic Group 2 Heat 5 – 520 metres
#8 Zipping Kyrgios – $3.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Group winning talent at Wentworth Park comes through the same race at Dubbo that Jungle Deuce won when he ran on for a strong third from this draw.
Always tough to win first up from the eight at Albion but if there’s a dog to do it it’s him, knows how to stay out of trouble at the turn and can turn it on mid-race.
Race 9. 9.25PM Garrard’s Horse and Hound Best 8 – 520 metres
#4 See Them Try – $11 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Has quietly been putting together one of the best recent resumes of the local Albion Park runners, a winner two starts ago in 29.88 backed up running second behind the talented Pay Call.
It’ll be all about how he handles the middle draw, is up and down with his box manners but with a touch of luck can run over the top of these.
Race 10. 9.50PM Sennachie @ Stud Steve White Mixed 4/5 – 520 metres
#1 Frog’s Hollow – $4.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Another quiet achiever of late, won back-to-back races in moderate 30.20 time but was excellent last week behind Pay Call going 30.08 in defeat and is drawn immaculately here.
Crazy Cool and Burnt Ends are both capable but are first up here in some time and may need the run.
Race 11. 10.08PM Fabregas @ Meticulous Lodge Grade 5 – 520 metres
#2 Riverboat Queen – $4 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Has built a handy record here at track and trip a four-time winner with five minors, from this draw you can rely on her to put herself in a position to win a race like this.
Five of ten career wins are from box one and two, in a moderate fifth grade she should go with Logo early and finish a little better.
Race 12. 10.25PM Box 1 Photography Masters – 520 metres
#8 Sprightly Bro – $6 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Went around an odds on pop in this same grade last week and led everywhere but the post, you can forgive him for running out of steam at just his second Albion Park run.
Box eight will be a challenge but he’s got a decent record and has the pace to cross these early and skip away.
