Albion Park Greyhound Racing Tips
Race 1. 6.19PM TAB Long May We Play Novice – 520 metres
#2 Just a Sort – $3.30 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Ran third last week and there was plenty of merit in the run, copped multiple checks up the straight and still managed to slot in third behind the leader.
Wanted the rail badly that night and with a fair beginning should find it here, disregard the slow time the track was a bog, can atone.
Race 2. 6.42PM BorgBet Tipping Service Novice – 520 metres
#8 Hop Along Warren – $6 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Put a line through his first run over five hundred last week, was a complete learning experience and will be far better off this week having been out of the five hundred boxes.
Has run in the 22.5 range multiple times over the 395 and on a quicker track this week if he can storm to the front will prove tough to run down.
Race 3. 7.04PM Box 1 Photography Free for All – 710 metres
#8 Temper Tears – $3 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Just timed his run a bit too late last week in the heats of if Listed Dashing Corsair, got well back from this same box and couldn’t recover.
The week before that was excellent winning in 42.05, expect him to let the field go early and begin to get mobile down the back, can run all day.
Race 4. 7.25PM Fabregas @ Meticulous Lodge Mixed 4/5 – 520 metres
#5 Handsome Prince – $2.90 – Bet @ Sportsbet
The Million Dollar Chase winner trialled only moderately last week after a brilliant 24.07 post-to-post the week before, his first five hundred I some time just cramped late.
He won’t find a better race to return in than this, hopefully he has that run out of his system and can show his class here.
Race 5. 7.49PM Borgbet Tipping Service Free for All – 600 metres
#5 Burnt Ends – $4 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Owns one of the quickest times in track and trip history when he ran 34.52 here late last year, stepped up to the seven hundred since then running second in Group company.
Began well over the five hundred last week, just about led before being checked, can stride forward from box five and show off his massive motor.
Race 6. 8.10PM TAB The Dashing Corsair Listed – 710 metres
#1 Classy Ethics – $4 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Looked like she was finally getting back to her Group One winning best here last week, was well away and almost finished over the top of Zipping Niseko who has to do it tough from box seven.
Can be right on the speed early and is as clean winded as they come, won’t struggle running the trip compared to some of these.
Race 7. 8.34PM Orsen Allen @ Meticulous Lodge Best 8 – 520 metres
#8 See Them Try – $6 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Has low key put together three of the biggest runs you’ll see from a dog, winning in 29.88 before back-to-back seconds behind Pay Call who’s drawn awkwardly here.
Does his best work when he’s left alone in the wide boxes, won’t lead them early but with his strength could well lead them on the line.
Race 8. 8.55PM TAB Flying Amy Classic Group 2 Final – 520 metres
#3 Impact – $4.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Gives away experience to some of these but more than makes up for it in ability, was easily the quickest heat winner last week in a scorching 29.73 on a wet track and draws much better this week.
If he jumps in the first three will be very hard to roll, gets going down the back and has a huge run home, the money stays in Queensland.
Race 9. 9.19PM Sell Your Car @ Motorhub Grade 5 – 520 metres
#2 Merchant Navy – $3.20 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Is incredibly stiff no to be in the Flying Amy final this week, was in front everywhere except the line in pouring rain against Jungle Deuce in his Flying Amy heat.
Loves and inside draw, should pour the pressure on early and showed last week he’s got no problem handling the heavy conditions.
Race 10. 9.37PM Garrard’s Horse and Hound Grade 5 – 520 metres
#2 Double Malt – $2.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Was out graded in his Flying Amy heat last week, the conditions didn’t suit the front runner who tends to lead for fun but does get a stitch the last twenty metres.
From an inside box I’d back him in to open up a big enough lead down the back to hang on given the track is running faster than last week.
Race 11. 9.59PM Sennachie @ Stud Steve White Masters – 520 metres
#2 Steal Away – $5 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Drawn to win here, Techno Hornet to his outside will push runner up the track and he can out pace or at least match clocked to the first turn here.
Tends to hold his position mid-race before coming again with a late surge which should see him hold off some of the stronger finishers.
Race 12. 10.18PM TAB Venue Mode Masters – 520 metres
#5 Aristocratic Gal – $6 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Known for her feats as a six and seven hundred metre bitch where she’s usually one of the first out and can hold a high cruising speed all race.
First up for a few months she might have the spring in the legs to go forward and prove troublesome to run down in this grade.
