Albion Park Greyhound Racing Tips

Race 1. 6.39PM GPP Laser 3300 Novice – 520 metres

#1 Marske – Bet Now

Blew it at the start first time at Albion Park and the 520 metres last week but showed really promising signs running out the trip and making his way into third.

Gets the perfect chance to atone this week, was excellent out of the boxes winning at Ipswich and if he can get away a little better from an inside draw this week looks a great chance.

Race 2. 6.57PM Garrards Horse and Hound – 520 metres

#6 Rockford – Bet Now

A Free For All 520 and 600 metre dog at Albion Park in his prime, he isn’t the same dog but in Masters grade will give you great value for money, very strong in the middle stages and late.

Will need some luck from the draw early, but if he can land in the first half of the field has the biggest motor of these and should be storming home.

Race 3. 7.22PM MP Sanitize Mix 3/4 – 520 metres

#7 Final Plea- Bet Now

Coming off a brilliant 30.27 win at Ipswich last Saturday night smashing his personal best up against a quality field.

Sequana at her best probably beats him here, but a slow beginner drawn box four she will most likely find trouble early, where as Final Plea should be able to sail down the outside and into a prominent position.

Race 4. 7.40PM TAB The Dashing Corsair Listed Heat  – 710 metres

#4 Infrared Lad – Bet Now

Was brilliant winner back to back Winter Chases over the 600 metres last week showing a great turn of foot mid race and plenty of strength late to suggest the 710 would be ideal.

Will get his chance to lead the field and give them a big sight, Rasheda is the obvious danger from box eight but needs the rail and should be posted wide early.

Look for the five time 710 metre winner to make in six.

Race 5. 8.06PM TAB The Dashing Corsair Listed Heat – 710 metres

#8 It’s a Trick – Bet Now

A multiple staying winner at the track including a 41.84 best earlier this year which puts him well and truly in the picture here.

Is usually well away for a stayer and the eight draw shouldn’t bother him too much if he can follow Sea Riding over in the six.

Velocity Bettina has the class but It’s A Trick has the runs on the board and should represent better value.”

Race 6. 8.25PM Sky Racing Mixed 3/4 – 520 metres

#8 Jasper The Jet – Bet Now

Arguably the second-best sprinter in Queensland at the moment and he’s still not in Free For All company, if he races anywhere up to his recent best should win this by streets.

There is pace inside with Hammer Down and Dervando, but a 5.4 first sectional should see him lead and if not has superior strength over the trip.”

Race 7. 8.52PM TAB Flying Amy Classic Group Three Heat – 520 metes

#8 Oh Mickey- Bet Now

Can’t go past one of Australia’s best young dogs, his list of accolades is growing by the week and despite a gun field here can do things they cannot.

Box eight shouldn’t be a drama, he won the Group Two Richmond Derby from the draw and should put himself into the race.

One to watch is Victorian product Bobby The Brute in box four, well performed metro dog in Melbourne, is very strong home if you don’t want to take the shorts on Oh Mickey.

Race 8. 9.07PM TAB Flying Amy Classic Group Three Heat – 520 metres

#1 Pump It- Bet Now

Brave in open company over the 600 metres last two starts mixing it with far more experienced dogs, running third on both occasions, broke the first sectional record on his first run.

Comes back to the 520 metres here where he comes up with the gun draw, if he can jump and run early with his 600 metre strength will be very hard to roll, can come from behind also.

Race 9. 9.32PM Box 1 Photography Mixed 4/5 – 600 metres

#1 Blue Diva – Bet Now

Just beginning to find her way over the 600 metres but looks like she’ll handle it no problem just as sister Dynamite Lucy and brother Big Boy Bruce have.

Can be explosive early especially from an inside draw, with no immediate pace to her outside look for her to hunt up the rail and lead, third up over the 600 should run it out well also.

Race 10. 9.58PM Assett Body Corporate Bribie Island Grade 5 – 520 metres

#2 Boscono- Bet Now

A dog getting back to his best which would see him winning this race, two wins and two placings from his last four, maps to get a beautiful trail behind the leaders here before kicking away late.

Should be able to slot in behind Blue Day in the one and with superior 600 metre pedigree have the strength to issue a strong challenge late.

Race 11. 10.20PM Fabregas @ Meticulous Lodge Grade 5 – 520 metres

#8 Bubbles and Brie – Bet Now

Tony Brett’s bitch loves a wide draw and along with Fire Drill inside her looks the early speed, they should be able to cross and go one two around the first turn.

Multiple winner at the track and distance Bubbles and Brie should get the edge late over a dog that hasn’t won at the trip.

Race 12. 10.39PM Sennachie @ Stud Steve White Masters – 520 metres

#6 Kealoah – Bet Now

Always a threat in these masters events, despite her age continues to show good early toe and the more runs she has the stronger she is over the 520 metre journey.

This race maps perfectly for her to get across to lead from the six, Mac Roamin’ from box one is a threat late but gets a long way back in his races while Kealoah will be making her own luck.
