Albion Park Greyhound Racing Tips
Race 1. 6.40PM SENTRACK 1053AM Brisbane Novice – 520 metres
#1 Fifty Fathoms – $1.70 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Happy to take the short quote about this favourite, showed a whole lot of talent from an inside draw and small field winning his maiden in 29.93 has run into some hot novice races since but should get the run of the race here.
Ideally will punch up and lead but if he can’t muster will still get leaders back and has shown he can run on.
Race 2. 6.57PM Garrard’s Horse and Hound Novice – 520 metres
#4 Call Me Gibbs – $2.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Came up with the lids from this same draw last start and didn’t throw in the towel whatsoever making ground steadily throughout to get up for third.
Shouldn’t make the same mistake twice and Paint face on his inside should give him a lovely cart over to the fence and he has the strength advantage if they pair off.
Race 3. 7.13PM Happy 30th Jake Hannan Grade 5 – 710 metres
#1 Aristocratic Gal – $8 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Has often been the brides maid but has always shown plenty of talent just never seems to secure the run of finds one better.
First times up to the 710 metres here and she looks like she wants it going off her last start second over the six hundred where she was hampered and picked up again to charge and just miss late, the price looks great each way value.
Race 4. 7.37PM Motorhub Grade 5 – 520 metres
#8 See Them Try – $9 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Came on the scene early days at Albion Park with a couple of black book runs but then preceded to get in a habit of coming up with the lids and was taken to Ipswich to fix his manners.
Spent a lot of time over the sprint trip slowly improving his start and has recently moved back to the 520, box eight first run back at headquarters may be hard but worth the risk at the price.
Race 5. 7.58PM Assett Body Corporate Bribie Island Mixed 4/5 – 520 metres
#7 Farmor Watch Me – $3.10 – Bet @ Sportsbet
This dog continues to add strings to his bow, got away well last week at Albion Park only to be squeezed up, thought quickly on his feet pulled five wide and avoided trouble at the first turn going on to win easily.
Has speed in the five to help him track into this one and of the favoured runners he’s who you want to be on late.
Race 6. 8.22PM Orsen Allen @ Stud Free for All – 600 metres
#8 Big Boy Bruce – $2.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet
A dog for all distances and boxes, lives for Free for All races like this and should be on the speed early again cutting across with Infrared Lad in the seven.
Won from this same draw four starts ago with relative ease, can win on the speed on running on from slightly behind, confidence is high, tough to beat.
Race 7. 8.43PM Molly Campbell Silver Dollars Final Open – 520 metres
#5 Werina Express – $9 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Bounced back to her early career form last week taking ground off Farmor Beach late in a 29.81 PB, if the favourites get crowded here she looks to have the run home to take advantage.
Farmor Beach is a deserved favourite in the three, but the kennel mate outside may provide some early interference, would much rather take the $9 each way then odds on.
Race 8. 9.07PM Fabregas @ Meticulous Lodge Best 8 – 520 metres
#7 Limited Edition – $6 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Loves storming across from outside boxes and has the perfect foil with Let’s Go Ozzi in the six who’ll head straight for the fence giving her plenty of room early.
Was closing off strong running a game second to that same dog last week and as long as she tacks on down the back should get the better of him late this time around.
Race 9. 9.25PM Sennachie @ Stud Steve White Masters – 520 metres
#2 It’s a Trick – $3 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Draws beautifully here no speed in box one or three and Proper Gent in four will run the other off the track, he should be in a nice comfortable spot around the first turn.
Really knows how to turn the screws mid-race and to the line, can take a gap and had distance pedigree looks very hard to roll.
Race 10. 9.50PM Box 1 Photography Grade 5 – 520 metres
#2 Terror Turtle – $7 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Numerical form doesn’t represent her talent, recently went through to the final of the G# Ipswich Auction Series and has shown flashes of that ability here at Albion.
Is not a fast beginner and needs the rail, she should get that from the draw and if she can get going down the back will have a lot of momentum on the line.
