Albion Park Greyhound Racing Tips
Race 1. 6.22PM Garrard’s Horse and Hound Novice – 520 metres
#4 Supreme Falcon – $5 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Impressed over the short course at Ipswich at just his second start going 25.25 in a dominant win, led in that race as he did in his first five hundred and is a good chance of taking it up here.
Mary Burman says he’s the most improved in their latest litter and could run a cheeky race at the each way quote.
Race 2. 6.43PM Motorhub Free for All – 600 metres
#1 Infrared Lad – $4 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Has been racing well without luck, comes up with the red here and is an expert at getting around the tricky six hundred metre corner first, if he can se up camp in the first few in probably he strongest dog in this field.
Well and truly comfortable in his grade has been racing here his whole career won’t be overawed.
Race 3. 7.04PM Asset Body Corporate Bribie Island Masters – 520 metres
#1 Isn’t She Special – $5 – Bet @ Sportsbet
One of the most reliable beginners in the game and from box one should be able to punch up and lead and put together a good second sectional to skip away.
Is just a bit short of a true 520 metre bitch and takes the small steps late but could do the damage early here.
Race 4. 7.25PM Sky Racing Straight to the Creek Open – 520 metres
#8 Chanticleer – $4.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Would normally prefer an inside box for this dog but with Fedor in seven who will crash for the fence the six-time Albion Park winner should sail down the outside and be prominent around the turn.
Is arguably the best performed dog here at The Creek and if it comes down to a strength battle late he’ll get the points.
Race 5. 7.43PM Orsen Allen @ Stud Grade 5 – 520 metres
#7 Where’s The Lady – $6 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Used to be a one trick pony early speed and lead all the way but has found the will to win and really fights it out to the line the older she gets.
Good record from out wide here not much pace directly inside should get across and challenge the inside few for the front, generous quote.
Race 6. 8.07PM Fabregas @ Meticulous Lodge Grade 5 – 710 metres
#3 Jimary Dynamite – $2.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Has been tackling New South Wale’s top distance dogs at Wentworth park without being disgraced, gets in incredibly well in this fifth grade contest and if she runs up to her 41.99 best here will be winning.
Aristocratic Gal looks the leader from box one, she should be able to drop in behind the front runner and come home better.
Race 7. 8.28PM Sennachie @ Stud Steve White Grade 4 – 520 metres
#2 Farmor Beach – $2.30 – Bet @ Sportsbet
The price looks generous about his up and coming star, Hara’s Panda in the one should lead him early but looks like the perfect bunny for him to chase and run down in the 29.6 range again.
Shooting for five in a row here confidence is through the roof and this is a shallow race apart from the favoured two.
Race 8. 8.52PM Box 1 Photography No Metro Wins Grade 5 – 520 metres
#4 How Not Too – $6 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Broke through over the five hundred in good style last week a good 29.91 gallop, led all that night will probably have to come from behind here with Double Return in the three but she should follow his across and secure a good run.
Should strip fitter for last weeks win and the price on offer considering the speed map looks exceptional.
Race 9. 9.14PM Aspley Game Development Classic Best 8 – 520 metres
#2 It Ain’t Billy – Bet @ Sportsbet
Has improved out of sight lately a Best 8 winner four and five starts ago and just missed out in good time last week.
Is a good mix of speed and power doesn’t usually lead but hunts the rail on the first turn and down the back and finishes off with the best of them, four wins from seven starts from box two bodes well here.
Race 10. 9.32PM Pacers and Chasers Bar and Bistro Masters – 520 metres
#8 Are Jay Lochie – Bet @ Sportsbet
If he’s ever going to win a race at Albion Park it’s from box eight in Masters class, will most likely get back to las early but has an uncanny field sense that always sees him in the finish.
Misses out a lot by small margins but as far as Masters races go this looks reasonably weak and gives him his chance.
Race 11. 9.54PM TAB Long May We Play Grade 5 – 520 metres
#2 Cyclone Fergus – Bet @ Sportsbet
New to Queensland and couldn’t be in better hands with Tony Apap who always rials them up over the five hundred before giving them a chance at Albion Park.
Was a three time winner up the straight at Healsville in Victoria and if he can run a straight line here should lead and be hard to catch.
Race 12. 10.10PM Kedron Wavell Services Club Grade 5 – 520 metres
#2 Queen Supreme – Bet @ Sportsbet
Better known over the short course but much of the litter has made a successful jump to the five hundred metres and with her early burn in this company looks like the one making her own luck.
Box one and two stats are excellent five wins from seven starts and should be very comfortable past the post the first time.
