#8 Preston Lee – $4 – Bet Now
Talented progeny of the great Brett Lee was brilliant winning his maiden in 30.08 and has been just off knocking over his Novice for a number of runs.
Has shown good early speed from wide boxes over the 460 metres at Bunbaberg, Speranza can be hit and miss at the start and could give him the chance to get across from the pink.
Race 2. 6.57PM Garrard’s Horse and Hound Grade 5 – 710 metres
#4 Cool Talk – $2.30 – Bet Now
Has had plenty of runs over the staying trip now and is showing signs of improvement every week, if she can lead early from box four which is a big possibility could run them ragged.
Mahogany Row in box six is the danger landed a lot closer over the 600 last start, but he’ll likely be the one doing the chasing here.
Race 3. 7.19PM Asset Body Corporate Bribie Island Grade 5 – 520 metres
#1 It’s a Rush – $7 – Bet Now
Dog only tapping into his potential, has won half of his dozen starts but hasn’t cracked Albion Park yet, gets a great chance from box one here.
Won’t lead them, solid early speed should see him camp on the rail and go through his gears down the back and in the run home, nice each way quote.
Race 4. 7.40PM Orsen Allen @ Stud 1-5 Wins Grade 5 Heat – 520 metres
#6 Mitchell Street – $4 – Bet Now
Young star new to the Tzouvelis kennel has won five of his six starts over the short course at Ipswich and Casino running some serious time with explosive power.
Looks the clear leader here, Tzouvelis would have trialled him from the 520 boxes before this assignment but there’s always the question if he’ll handle it first up, eager to find out.
Race 5. 8.04PM Fabregas @ Meticulous Lodge 1-5 Wins Grade 5 Heat – 520 metres
#5 Farmor Watch Me – $4 – Bet Now
A jet here over the 395 metres has won over the 520 metres as well but has taken a while to build strength but recent runs behind Publicans Cup winner Magical Hope have him right in the picture here.
No speed inside should be able to go forward and make his own luck, Paw It On in the three prefers a wide draw.
Race 6. 8.25PM Sennachie @ Stud Steve White Grade 5 – 520 metres
#6 Blue Day – $3.30 – Bet Now
Serious win here last start, time wasn’t flash but a huge run from the tail when last out swamped them in the home running.
Can Begin a lot better and is one of the more proven dogs in this field, four wins over track and trip and will handle the draw.
Race 7. 8.49PM TAB Long May We Play Free for All – 600 metres
#3 Waikarie Bell – $11 – Bet Now
Eye catching runs her last two when flying home along the fence finishing close up fourth, should land closer in this race and will be doing he best work late.
Techno Hornet and Blame Brendan will beat her for speed on her inside but that suits just fine, she’ll find the rail around the first turn and take the short way home, each way play.
Race 8. 9.10PM Box 1 Photography Mixed 4/5 – 520 metres
#2 Magical Hope – $3.50 – Bet Now
Gritty win in the Publicans Cup final last week, trainer Cyndie Elson was expecting a big run and got it and is on record as saying the bitch can go even quicker this week.
Low draw is a huge tick can drive through and lead and showed that she’s in for the fight late if things get tight.
Race 9. 9.34PM Sky Racing Best 8 – 520 metres
#6 It Ain’t Billy – $4.60 – Bet Now
Strongest dog in this field outside Cooper Dooper who just may do it tough early from box four, It Ain’t Billy should lead him and sit in behind the speed dogs Best Fit and Jasper the Jet.
If he’s not too far off the pace he has superior strength late, like the price in a small field.
Race 10. 9.58PM Chasers and Pacers Bar and Bistro Grade 5 – 600 metres
#1 Hard Marker – $3 – Bet Now
Got well back in his first six hundred start last week and still almost stole the race with a big finish, gets an easier field this week and should get a nice clear run on or just behind the speed from box one.
Will be better off for the experience last week and looks primed for a middle-distance win.
Race 11. 10.22PM Kedron Wavell Services Club Masters – 520 metres
#2 Sonic Boom – $5 – Bet Now
Has been in a rich vein in this company with two wins and a second recently, is a sucker for a low draw and gets that here and with no pace inside can get to the fence first where he likes it.
Won’t blow them away early but runs good sectionals and figures to be right in the finish here.
Race 12. 10.42PM Rhino Finance Masters – 520 metres
#4 Amby’s Dream – $6 – Bet Now
Got shuffled back to midfield last start and still charged at the line late going down by less than half a length, meets a lot of those same dogs here and can atone.
Box four is the question, can show pace on his day but will need a little luck around the first turn.
