Angle Park Greyhound Racing Tips
Race 1. 7.04PM Greyhounds as Pets Non-Penalty Mixed Stake – 530 metres
#1 Curious Nick – Bet @ Sportsbet
Didn’t run quick time last week but there was plenty of merit to the run coming from behind to score when not having a whole lot of fitness on his side.
He’d been racing over the short course and still found the strength to overhaul them, gets his favourite box here where his record is markedly better and should be better second up.
Race 2. 7.25PM 2022 Easter Cup Series Heat One – 595 metres
#7 Mallee Magic – Bet @ Sportsbet
The three dog is a deserved favourite the class of the race who’s been going around in Group company back home in Perth, but Mallee Magic has the speed and record here at track and trip to worry her.
She’s won three of five over this distance and will be cutting across them early to take up the running, she might be able to pinch a large enough break.
Race 3. 7.43PM 2022 Easter Cup Mixed Series Heat Two – 595 metres
#8 Run Like Jess – Bet @ Sportsbet
Just refuses to run a bad race this dog, he’s below his best now when he was racing in Group One’s in Melbourne but is still a serious weapon in this kind of race at Angle Park.
Much like Mallee Magic he’ll be looking to get across from the wide draw and show a sustained turn of foot over this trip.
Race 4. 8.04PM Fresh Food Pet Co Open Stake – 530 metres
#1 Fantastic Victor – Bet @ Sportsbet
Absolutely brilliant even by his high standards winning a similar race last week where he put five on them to the first turn and hung on comfortably in 30.22.
Does meet Jack’s Well this week who’s still a force but will but spotting Victor some sort of start and will have to run immense time to catch him.
Race 5. 8.28PM TAB Make a Date With Play grade 6 – 530 metres
#1 Saint Sandy – Bet @ Sportsbet
It hasn’t been a happy hunting ground for this bitch at Angle Park, she’s yet to break through here but has placed in four of her eight attempts.
Coming up at double digit odds from box one in a race as open as this she’s worth an investment, hasn’t been far off them and finally gets the inside draw she’s been looking for.
Race 6. 8.49PM Giddy-Up Stake Division One Grade 5 – 530 metres
#6 Sell More Houses – Bet @ Sportsbet
Probably better suited over the six hundred where he’s bumped into some of the best prospects going around in South Australia.
Has had one run over the 530 recently and went a serviceable 30.88 which won’t be far off here, he’ll get back and need luck to win but is a must have each-way.
Race 7. 9.10PM XP3020 Stake Division Two Grade 5 – 530 metres
#8 He’s All Purpose – Bet @ Sportsbet
One of the rare chasers who loves it out of the pink box a winner of three from four with a minor placing in his other outing.
He’s a serious chaser having gone as quick as 30.39 here which was the best of his five wins, he’s currently riding a hot streak and can continue in the same vein here.
Race 8. 9.31PM Sky Racing Grade Five Series Final – 530 metres
#1 Danyo’s Charlie – Bet @ Sportsbet
Has been pinging the lids wherever he’s racing in South Australia for a long time racking up twenty-five wins along the way and has the plumb draw to make it twenty-six.
Eight times he’s triumphed off the one where he usually jumps straight on the bunny, he’s not as strong as he used to be but if he skips away from this full field and there’s trouble behind he’s home.
Race 9. 9.53PM Accell Therapy Open Stake – 730 metres
#7 Mr. Ibrox – Bet @ Sportsbet
Thought it was more than a pass mark finishing a close fourth in his first race over the 730 metres in SA after a very solid NSW career.
Dogs generally need the run first up over the distance and he should have taken plenty of benefit, will make his own luck and have no worries getting the trip.
Race 10. 10.19PM Book The Angle Park 8’s Grade 6 – 530 metres
#4 Air Outlaw – Bet @ Sportsbet
Winning form is good form and this dog took care of business as an odds on favourite at Gawler last start and connections will look to strike while the iron’s hot at Angle.
He’s only just getting started this dog thirteen starts for three wins including one here at the track, he could be the big improver of this field.
Race 11. 10.37PM BGC Industrial Cleaning Supplies Grade 6 – 530 metres
#2 Air Pumbaa – Bet @ Sportsbet
Is air born at the moment a winner of his last two at Gawler one over the five hundred and the other over the short course, they were easier races but he took care of business on both occasions.
Is a dog who needs a few strides to hit top gear and from an inside draw with a vacant outside him should accelerate through and make his own luck here.
Race 12. 10.52PM Kurt Donsberg Photography Grade 6 – 530 metres
#5 Impeached – Bet @ Sportsbet
Gives away plenty of experience to most of this field but has them covered handily for talent a winner of her last three starts and she ran second in her first outing.
Has built up through the distances and gets her first look at five hundred here after dominant wins over the 455 at Murray Bridge, jump and run type will be hard to beat.
