Angle Park Greyhound Racing Tips

Race 1. 7.13PM Angle Park 8’s Juvenile – 515 metres

#2 Bedrock Fred – $3.20 – Bet @ Sportsbet

A dog with a huge motor which he’s been using over the middle-distance to great effect always in the picture in open company races.

Has an accomplished record over the sprint as well and is drawn to get a charmed run through on the rails before setting out after the front runners.

Race 2. 7.34PM TAB Long May we Play Maiden – 515 metres

#5 Sandave Vision – $8 – Bet @ Sportsbet

A member of a hot Barcia Bale/Sandave Sapphire litter who are doing exceptional things over the sprint and staying trips in NSW and Queensland.

Not much form with just three starts but should have a serious run home if she’s anything like her siblings.

Race 3. 7.55PM Danyo’s Wylie 21.72 Maiden – 515 metres

#1 Victa Maggie – $2.70 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Has shown signs on improvement on the clock in each of here four starts all here at track and trip thus far.

Jumped well from a middle draw last week and got very close to breaking her maiden, in an average field she looks poised here.

Race 4. 8.16PM Sky Racing Grade 5 Final – 515 metres

#5 Tangelo Fire – $3.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Hasn’t skipped a beat since coming to Angle Park two from two over the five hundred in 29.84 and 29.90, from boxes two and seven respectively.

Has brought her box speed from the short course with her and is having no trouble running the journey when getting on the lure.

Race 5. 8.40PM Giddy-Up Grade 6 – 515 metres

#3 Stranger Tides – $2.40 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Plenty of young talent here set for bigger things but none has showed as much as Stranger Tides, a 29.75 winner around here and a runner-up to Free for All dog Jack’s Well his last two.

Has drawn box six or outside in his last five starts, hopefully doesn’t try to use too much of the track early, that’s the only concern.

Race 6. 8.58PM XP3020 Grade 6 – 515 metres

#5 Opal Model – $5.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Her race in predicated on early speed, she’s had a brilliant start to her career albeit over the three hundred and four hundred metre distances.

Was admirable in defeat first up over track and trip last start running 30.07 when collared in the shadows of the post, she should lead again and be every chance of holding on.

Race 7. 9.19PM Accel Therapy Grade 5 – 515 metres

#1 Cyclone Arrow – $4 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Former Queensland chaser who was good enough to win on a Thursday night over the five and six hundred metres, takes a while to wind up but given clean air from the one will be tough to hold out.

A 29.99 trial here says he’s fairly wound up for his first South Australian start and should be hitting the frame late.

Race 8. 9.43PM Greyhounds as Pets Grade 5 – 515 metres

#6 Diorite Fire – $8 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Has not raced a whole lot here but has a really handy three from five strike rate, won a lot of races in Tasmania and has been plying his trade over the six hundred here in good company.

Has been leading those middle-distance races and not quite running them out, drop back to the sprint looks ideal at a nice price.

Race 9. 10.05PM Brett Lee 28.88 Free for All – 515 metres

#8 Jack’s Well – $2.20 –Bet @ Sportsbet

Is going from strength to strength at the moment firmly entrenched in listed, Group and Free for all grade is still racking up the wins.

Gets the ideal draw here in the eight where he can wind up out wide and come with a sweeping run around them to smash the line and run time.

Race 10. 10.30PM Arvo’s Athena 42.50 Grade 5/6 – 731 metres

#5 Tapestry Tears – $6 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Is the stayer on the rise in this field, was more than competitive in her first two starts over the distance before coming out and winning third up in good time last start.

Four runs into her distance campaign should have a good base to gradually get better, hopefully will find a nice spot just behind the speed where she can run home.

Race 11. 10.49PM Rulebook 34.45 Mixed 3/4/5 – 600 metres

#1 Rugged and Ready – $2.80 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Very even field here but the red box and good recent form gives Rugged and Ready the nod, was a winner from this draw two starts ago in 35 seconds flat leading all the way and will get the chance to do it again.

Defy in the eight is an obvious danger but will have to do all the work in the run from the tough draw.

Race 12. 11.04PM See You In a Few Months Angle Park Mixed 4/5 – 515 metres

#5 Sweet Rose – $2.80 – Bet @ Sportsbet

This bitch loves being drawn the centre of the line and fires across to the winning post on box rise, just missed out against the strong Power Burner last start and is ready to atone.

A five-time winner track and trip and a 29.69 winner from box five looks the right form here.
