Angle Park Greyhound Racing Tips
Race 1. 7.12PM Terry Winder Free for All – 730 metres
#7 Bedrock Fred – $2.40 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Stands out as by far the best talent in this field, took huge strides in his staying career making a Group One final in Brisbane showing the seven hundred and beyond was not a challenge for him.
Had success over the sprint and middle distance at Angle Park early in his career and is ready to add a staying win.
Race 2. 7.34PM Greg and Tristan Robson Maiden – 530 metres
#5 Psychotic Babe – $3.80 – Bet @ Sportsbet
One of the few in this race that has exposed form, was good on debut at Gawler running a strong second and was in the market again second up at Murray Bridge but was crippled by box eight.
Has proven at a young age she can run out the five hundred metres and drawn somewhere other than the pink will be good for her.
Race 3. 7.52PM DLB Engineering Kings and Queens – 530 metres
#8 Victa Reid – $4 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Comes up at a nice price given his recent form and box eight record where he’s never been beaten in five goes out of the wide draw.
Victa Saige should give him a nice cart across or he might not need it and burn to the front himself, adept over four and five hundred metres.
Race 4. 8.13PM Steriline Racing Kings and Queens – 530 metres
#4 Victa Hadyn – $3.20 – Bet @ Sportsbet
This chaser has been low flying over the five hundred at Gawler and Murray Bridge lately breaking the clock in a pair of recent wins.
He’s at his best when he’s flying out and on the lure, the threat to him here is the sped in box four, but he’s never lost from this draw and should continue in the same vein.
Race 5. 8.37PM Adelaide Greyhound Racing Club Free For All Final – 595 metres
#7 Indeed – $5.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Can be a bitch that’s a bit hit and miss but at her best she’s as good as any of these and worth a gamble on the back on middle-distance wins at Mount Gambier and Gawler.
Has an ideal race pattern for this distance, just behind the speed ready to pounce expect her to be hitting the line hard.
Race 6. 8.58PM ACKMAC/DAISH Irrigation Grade 5 – 530 metres
#2 Rockstar Manners – $5 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Has found his form of late under the guidance of the powerful Rawlings kennel, three straight wins with exceptional box manners over the four hundred at Murray Bridge.
He looks the likely leader but the clear challenge in running the 530, but confidence does good things to dogs and the draw is perfect.
Race 7. 9.22PM Quality Electrical Service Grade 5 – 530 metres
#1 Jax Cade – $5 – Bet @ Sportsbet
A dog who’s still searching for his brilliant best since crossing from New South Wales to South Australia, but he’s still been winning races.
This is a step up but the distance should suit given his racing pattern, you would prefer him drawn wide but he did win only three starts ago off the inside.
Race 8. 9.43PM Cinema and Symphony Grade 5 – 530 metres
#3 Rushes – $3.80 – Bet @ Sportsbet
A dog for all occasions, can get out and run time on the bunny or pull to the outside and let down late, the recent winner of the South Australian Sprint Championship has it all.
Is beautifully graded finding himself a fifth company and should like the new Angle as much as he likes the old.
Race 9. 10.08PM Mollison and Co Earth Moving Grade 6 – 530 metres
#4 Benitoite – $6 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Numerical form isn’t fantastic finishing outside the money in four of her last five starts, but right in the middle was a win over the four hundred a trip she’s not normally suited to.
Is she can bring that pace to Angle, she’s the bitch proven over the 530 metres and could do some damage at the price.
Race 10. 10.24PM Gilgen Fencing Services Grade 6 – 530 metres
#2 Burning Nitro – $5 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Was always a threat at Angle Park in these type of races before the refurb and given her go forward style not much will have changed.
When she gets the start right can really put a gap in them and even on weary legs late is good for a placing.
Race 11. 10.44PM Quarry and Mining Manufacture Grade 6 – 530 metres
#8 Innocent – $2.10 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Has really hit a purple patch thirty starts into her career, racing in tough company and acquitting herself well at Gawler she got the chance to breakthrough in good time last start.
Is usually well away and is well versed in how to overcome and outside draw.
Race 12. 11.04PM Beco Constructions Grade 6 – 530 metres
#2 Tidelands – $3.20 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Gets a return bout with Spring Lilac here, the two clashed at Gawler a few starts ago with the latter coming away with a narrow victory.
Tidelands was posted wide in box eight that night and now eyeballs her competition early and is a big chance of turning the tables.
