Angle Park Greyhound Racing Tips
Race 1. 7.07PM G-Six TAB Long May We Play Grade 5 – 515 metres
#1 Mercedes Monelli – Bet @ Sportsbet
Happy to take the price about the opening favourite, she’s boxed just where she wants to be in the red takes some time to wind up but should get the ideal camp on the leaders.
Won here three starts ago in a similar field coming over the top late in 30.06, can run six hundred should be too strong.
Race 2. 7.25PM G-Six Sky Racing Maiden – 515 metres
#4 Crossed Fingers – Bet @ Sportsbet
The powerful Butcher kennel has been debuting multiple pups out of this Worm Burner, Buzz Box litter a few who have won over the five hundred first up.
Is bred to get the trip, good kennel, best to follow the money in maiden grade and it should come for Crossed Fingers.
Race 3. 7.49PM G-Six BGC Industrial Cleaning Supplies Grade 6 – 515 metres
#2 Illustration – Bet @ Sportsbet
First run in South Australia after a moderate start to her career in Victoria, but she looks to pick up a big class drop here from racing at Cranbourne and Sandown Park in a moderate race.
The two is a good draw first up should find his way to the fence easily and the daughter of Moreira likely has a bit of class on these.
Race 4. 8.10PM We Love Our Dogs Mixed 2/3/4 – 515 metres
#8 Rushes – Bet @ Sportsbet
Comes back to his favoured five hundred metre trip after experimenting over the six hundred where he didn’t quite run in out.
Has a great strike rate five from ten here at track and trip, will likely get back early but true to his name comes with a rush late, wide draw can work.
Race 5. 8.28PM Giddy-Up Mixed 3/4/5 – 600 metres
#2 Fantastic Shell – Bet @ Sportsbet
Has been faultless up over the middle-distance two from two in 34.92 and 34.99, those wins came from boxes one and eight respectively, doesn’t matter where she’s boxed.
Is quick out from here sprinting days and has shown no shortage of strength when challenged late in her two wins.
Race 6. 8.52PM G-Six Levrier by Jo Irvine Grade 5 – 515 metres
#4 Rockin’ Richard – Bet @ Sportsbet
Inexperienced at the track and trip, but an experienced chaser everywhere else, a winner at Murray Bridge, Gawler, Cranbourne and Warragul, has currently won four of his last five including his first win here.
Went 30.06 with a 4.46 first section five starts ago, has been dominating over the sprint since, if he can get to the front should win.
Race 7. 9.13PM G-Six XP3020 Grade 5 – 515 metres
#1 Sweet On Me – Bet @ Sportsbet
Red rug specialist has an outstanding six from seven strike rate from the inside draw, grows another leg when she’s first to the rail.
Overcame box eight winning in 30.07 two starts ago in this grade and should get a much easier time looking for career win seventeen from box one.
Race 8. 9.37PM 2020 Brian Johnstone Final G3 – 515 metres
#1 Fly For Trix – Bet @ Sportsbet
The price will be short about this jet but deservedly so, seven wins from nine starts at the track and currently riding a five-race winning streak, he can do it from inside, outside, forward or back.
29.45 is a good three tenths quicker than the rest of the fields best, if he turns up on the night he wins would have to have some bad luck to go under.
Race 9. 9.58PM G-Six Kurt Donsberg Photography Grade 4 – 515 metres
#2 American Man – Bet @ Sportsbet
Powerful type has been landing closer in the run of late, resulting with a pair of seconds, most notably a 29.69 effort behind Major Major last start.
Jack’s Well should clear out from box one to lead, but Couture in the four is slow away and he should get his chance to find a forward spot and put in a finishing burst.
Race 10. 10.20PM Accell Therapy Free for All – 731 metres
#2 Line Seeker – Bet @ Sportsbet
Looks to have taken Sir Truculent’s throne while he’s racing in Victoria, was impressive first up here last week winning from box eight one of only a few runs over the seven hundred metres.
Should land nice and close from box two and has answered the question if he can run the trip or not, look for improvement.
Race 11. 10.44PM G-Six @THEDOGSSA Grade 6 – 515 metres
#1 Under Study – Bet @ Sportsbet
Donald Turner took his time getting him to the five hundred at Angle Park his first start coming just last month, but he was able to put together two runner-up’s and two wins in good time before a freshen up at Gawler.
Takes his time early but gets going mid-race and has a strong turn of foot, look for the form to continue in this grade.
Race 12. 11PM G-Six GAP SA Grade 6 – 515 metres
#8 Gold Flyer – Bet @ Sportsbet
Has been a perennial place getter always finding one better on the night, but he’s consistent as anything and in Grade six company with a quick first split and a wide draw gets every chance to jump on the arm.
Has been running around thirty flat which should get it done against this field.
