Angle Park Greyhound Racing Tips
Race 1. 7.10PM G-Six Sky Racing Juvenile Stake – 515 metres
#5 Raging Redline – $2.80 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Started his career in fantastic fashion going two from two at The Meadows in Victoria, his 30.32 effort is a super run for a maiden dog and he was able to back it up.
As long as he’s handled the trip to South Australia has to be the one to beat here, can ping early and will have no problem with the distance.
Race 2. 7.28PM G-Six TAB Venue Mode Maiden – 515 metres
#2 Zinfadel Dusty – $3 – Bet @ Sportsbet
One of only two dogs here with race experience, his two starts from outside boxes have only been moderate, but was 4.48 away in a 30.31 effort two starts back.
Watch the market with plenty of debutants here but he looks to have the one for pace and will be the likely leader with runs in the legs.
Race 3. 7.49PM G-Six Kurt Donsberg Photography Grade 6 – 515 metres
#2 Long Gully Corey – $8 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Looks good value in a race where there are plenty of questions, he’s never run worse than fourth in four starts over the shorts and traditional sprint at Gawler showing good field sense from out wide.
Just died late in this class last start, Angle Park and the 515 should suit and we’ll get to see him from an inside draw.
Race 4. 8.10PM 2021 John Gray Heat Grade 5 – 515 metres
#3 Long Gully Barny – $3.40 – Bet @ Sportsbet
A track and distance specialist has won a dozen races here and despite coming of recent wins at the short course looks well placed in this grade.
Wins his races out of the boxes, has a brilliant inside record and current form says he’s jumping as well as ever, should be strong enough to go to trip.
Race 5. 8.28PM 2021 John Gray Heat Grade 5 – 515 metres
#3 Zipping Sullivan – $2.20 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Has won twenty races on the Victorian circuits and crosses the border in as good a form as ever with back to back wins on the one turn track and around the circle.
Early dash from a low draw should suit him, if he can find the fence first he won’ get lost even if it’s his first time around.
Race 6. 8.52PM BGC Industrial Cleaning Supplies Mix ¾ – 515 metres
#2 Yarindale – $4.40 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Has returned from a three month spell a better dog than when he left, if jumping much better and with his powerful finish has won his first two starts back here at Angle.
Gets up in grade here but it’s nothing he hasn’t seen before, familiar draw in the two, may not lead but should be close and is racing with plenty of gusto.
Race 7. 9.13PM Greyhounds as Pets Mixed 3/4/5 – 600 metres
#4 Holy Reign – $7 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Taking a bit of a punt here with just the one run back over the traditional sprint at Angle Park but six hundred is where she does her best work, a seven-time winner here with a substantially better personal best than these.
If she misses the start and finds the fence will pick up ground and challenge late.
Race 8. 9.34PM 2021 South Australian Sprint Championship Open – 515 metres
#2 Coorong Lucy – $2.70 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Never doubt a champion, there were question marks around her running the five hundred last week after a while off the scene but she scorched around in 29.53.
She’s one of the quickest bitches to ever see Angle Park and if she gets the fly on Shadow Mist in box one will be mighty hard to run down on the lure.
Race 9. 9.56PM 2021 John Gray Heat Grade 5 – 515 metres
#2 Lily Pad – $3.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Was flying here before being tested at The Meadows last start, no disgrace finding trouble from box five and from her winningest draw should get right back to it.
Had put four on end at Gawler, getting out well and finishing just as good, if she doesn’t give too much ground early she wins.
Race 10. 10.15PM 2021 John Gray Heat Grade 5 – 515 metres
#8 Another Storm – $6 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Gets a golden chance to go back to back here and win three of her last four, main change is box one to box eight, but he’s got just as goo a record from out wide as inside.
The seven should give him a lovely cart across and hopefully wipe out a few rivals, if he’s able to run around 30.10 again will be hard to beat.
Race 11. 10.33PM XP3020 Free for All – 731 metres
#3 Miss Bellawood – $3.20 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Very intriguing four dog race, Good Juan is the big danger if he decides to chase he could eat these up in a small field but struggles to put two together.
Miss Bellawood on the other hand will run a winning time every week and should be high balling out in front here while the others do the chasing.
Race 12. 10.55PM G-Six Giddy-Up Grade 6 – 515 metres
#5 Lawrie Road – $3.70 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Has done most of her racing away from Angle Park a prolific winner at the provincials over the short course, has had seven tries here all in much harder company.
Despite not winning has gone 29.87 and with her box manners and form could easily lead these all the way.
