Angle Park Greyhound Racing Tips

Race 1. 7.05PM Book The Angle Park 8’s Mixed 3/4/5 – 530 metres

#4 Memphis Keeping – $1.80 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Short quote to start the night but it’s well and truly justified, 30.37 and 30.57 wins since arriving in South Australia off an excellent New South Wales career.

Run Like Jess in box two is a danger which her strength but won’t be able to match the early splits of Memphis Keeping which should see it off and gone.

Race 2. 7.28PM Sky Racing Maiden – 530 metres

#1 Sir Benjamin – $3 – Bet @ Sportsbet

The dogs with exposed form here all look to have had their chance leaving the first starters to battle it out for a debut city win and this son of Aston Dee bee from the powerful Rasmussen kennel looks the part.

There’s always unknown’s on a debut but a good litter, respected kennel and gun draw go a long way.

Race 3. 7.49PM Fresh Pet Food Free for All – 730 metres

#1 Frankie Boy – $1.60 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Normally when a race is scratched down to two dogs it’s not a good thing but Frankie Boy and Victa Hadyn should put on a show for punters.

The former has crowned himself the seven hundred king taking all before him in his young career, but his opponent is a jet over six hundred and should get a long way out in front here, only for Frankie Boy to reel him in.

Race 4. 8.10PM BGC Industrial Cleaning Supplies Grade 5 – 530 metres

#2 Danyo’s Charlie – 4.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Has had half a dozen shots to win at the new Angle Park but just hasn’t taken to it like the old venue, a dog of his talent it’s a matter of time and he finds a nice race here.

Perfectly drawn in box two to lead these up while the favourite in the four will be crowded with plenty of speed coming down from the outside boxes.

Race 5. 8.28PM Thanks MC Ray Fewings Grade 5 – 595 metres

#5 Sell More Houses – $8 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Wasn’t quite up to top grade last week when squeezed early, never a chance in the race, it was the first time the dog’s missed the money at track and trip.

Comes up a very backable price again and has run some big races here from outside draws, is fit as a fiddle and ready to make some noise.

Race 6. 8.52PM 2021 Kate’s a Scandal Christmas Sprint Free for All – 530 metres

#5 Stout Monelli – $1.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Is an absolute machine here winning five from eight overall, most importantly coming back from a spell and braining them in his last two getting down close to track record times.

At the short quote maybe look to combine him with a couple of other hot pots on the night, he should be gobbling up another feature here.

Race 7. 9.13PM At The Dogs SA Grade 6 Series – 530 metres

#1 Little Purpose – $6 – Bet @ Sportsbet

There are a couple of hot ones in this race but this bitch has flown under the radar with a great start to her career.

Is yet to win in the city but gets a chance here of the back of a placing, loves box one and should punch up early and trouble behind and she could extend away for a win.

Race 8. 9.37PM Accell Therapy Grade 6 series – 530 metres

#6 Stranger Tides – $4 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Only a small body of work at track and trip but there’s plenty to work with including a 30.76 best from this very same box draw.

Has been behind some good ones when not hitting the frame and away from Angle Park has racked up half a dozen wins.

Race 9. 9.58PM XP3020 Grade 6 Series – 530 metres

#4 Spring Line – $3 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Has the touch of brilliance that some of these lack at this stage of their careers, he’s constantly getting better evidenced by his 30.65 win here.

Only real worry is getting crowded early and as he gets further into his career is finding ways to secure the right run.

Race 10. 10.20PM Giddy-UP Grade 5 – 530 metres

#5 George the First – $4 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Back into the winners circle last week when he coursed wide early striking the front and coming away well over the middle-distance.

If he can leave well again here enjoys a wide box and won’t mind making ground three or four wide in the run.

Race 11. 10.43PM Greyhounds as Pets Non-Penalty – 530 metres

#6 Threaten – $3 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Has been competing in far tougher company than this and is ideally drawn in the six to show his early muster get across and lead this field for fun.

Is yet to win here over the track and trip but has some excellent form lines everywhere else, is due to break through.

Race 12. 11.02PM Happy New Year Grade 5 – 515 metres

#7 Aston Carlos – $5 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Can’t go any worse than he did last week when he continually found trouble and was spat out the back of the field.

Wipe that run from the record and he’s been going great, a three-time winner at the track close to making it four.
