Angle Park Greyhound Racing Tips
Race 1. 7.10PM TAB Long May We Play Grade 6 – 515 metres
#5 Lewicki – $5 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Probably not the quickest dog in the race but drawn to lead for fun and should improve off her 30.48 win here in the wet last week.
Stress the Point in box one wants to get up the track and if Lewicki clears him she could be off and gone early at a good price.
Race 2. 7.28PM AGRC Open Maiden Series Final – 515 metres
#5 Tidelands – $4 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Tough race to get a guide on with the majority of the field on debut, let the market be your guide, but on face value the Kirin Corbin trained Tidelands out of the speedy Worm Burner looks as good a chance as any.
No pace outside him he should get left alone early and we’ll see what he can do.
Race 3. 7.49PM Giddy-Up Juvenile – 515 metres
#1 Departure Gate – $5 – Bet @ Sportsbet
A couple of weeks ago this dog hadn’t won a race from thirteen starts, since then he’s knocked over his maiden at Murray Bridge over the shorts and won his last start in good time over the 531 at Gawler.
Looks to have the speed to go forward from the draw, open up a gap on Stanley Keeping and retain the winning form.
Race 4. 8.10PM Sky Racing Mixed Series Heat 1 – 515 metres
#4 Oakvale Warrior – $9 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Deserves a little more respect in this market, in previous years has been a free for all dog here, he’s not as quick these days, but drops in class and has still be performing over the sprint.
Can get out in 4.4 here to the first mark and with seven career wins here will take catching if he leads.
Race 5. 8.28PM XP3020 Mixed Series Heat 2 – 515 metres
#7 Alfieri – $2 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Has been racing in top company over multiple distances at Murray Bridge and comes back to a familiar stomping ground with some really solid form behind him.
Has been a star here in the past, if he jumps like he can from the seven he’ll show he’s the best dog in this field.
Race 6. 8.49PM BGC Industrial Cleaning Supplies Grade 5 – 515 metres
#2 Zipping Cola – $6 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Always a decent gamble getting on this powerful type given his get back run on style, but he’s been remarkably consistent running into placings.
He should be able to drop to the fence from box two and pick up runs on the paint, worth a go in an open event.
Race 7. 9.13PM We Love Our Dogs Mixed 4/5 – 515 metres
#4 Classic McLaren – $6 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Has been stuck in box eight his last two starts against the likes of SA Sprint champion Coorong Lucy, comes to a middle draw where he has a winning record and should get a clear run to the post.
American Man will run up the track and Shanlyn Charlotte needs to muster, another that comes up at a backable quote.
Race 8. 9.34PM 2021 SA St Leger Final – 515 metres
#4 Jack’s Well – $2.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Ran a massive race to win last week, was flattened at the first turn and picked himself up bridging a huge margin to the leader, loves to chase.
Always a few nervous moments early but if he sees any daylight in the run sprouts wings and takes off, best dog in the field.
Race 9. 9.55PM Kurt Donsberg Photography Grade 6 – 515 metres
#7 Cawbourne Boomer – $4.20 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Limited experience here at Angle Park just four starts for a couple of minor placings, has run 30.01 which wins this race and comes in confident.
Proficient over the shorter journeys at other tracks and also from outside draws, look for a quick muster to lead this lot.
Race 10. 10.14PM Greyhounds as Pets Free for All – 731 metres
#5 Raylene Bale – $3.20 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Another intriguing four dog free for all, Miss Bellawood and Line Seeker are the front runners and should go at each other throughout for the front.
Raylene Bale has been running some huge races finding interference, she should drop out to last here and come with a sustained run to pip the front two.
Race 11. 10.39PM Accell Therapy Open – 515 metres
#2 Shadow Mist – $2.25 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Had his colours lowered at a rock bottom price by Rushes last start, was beaten at the jump and could never hold the rail against his strong rival.
Rushes is stuck in the five while Shadow Mist gets the two and every opportunity to get one back on him.
Race 12. 10.55PM @THEDOGSSA Mixed 4/5 – 600 metres
#1 Major Havoc – $2.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Caught the eye taking ground off Rushes and Shadow Mist in open company over the sprint last week, is proven at the six hundred and looks the ideal time to step him back up.
Does his best work from inside draws, if he holds the rail he grinds out the six hundred metres better than these.
