Angle Park Greyhound Racing Tips
Race 1. 7.04PM BGC Industrial Cleaning Supplies Grade 6 – 515 metres
#7 Stareena – $3 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Fresh over from Victoria was a winner on South Australian debut at Mount Gambier and steps straight up to Thursday night grade.
Not a great record from wide draws but this maps really well for her, Cawbourne Boomer in the five will crash for the fence giving her all the room she needs to wind up and push forward, has run over seven hundred before and should be going as strong as ever late.
Race 2. 7.24PM Only The Dogs Maiden – 515 metres
#4 Victa Reid – $3.30 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Has shown marked improvement from his first up run to his second improving almost three tenths when finishing runner up from back in the field last week.
Has vacant boxes either side of him here and if he can jump a little closer looks to have the strength advantage over most of these, if he improves again the tie will be tough for the other maidens to beat.
Race 3. 7.43PM Giddy-Up Juvenile – 515 metres
#7 Victa Grosso – $5 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Will rely heavily on his talent here from box seven, has never missed the money here at Angle Park but will have Gemtree Maximus crashing down on him from box eight, if he avoids early trouble is the value of this field.
Finished third in listed grade behind free for all dog Jack’s Well last week running on strongly clocking in at 30.08, a touch of luck early and he’s on here.
Race 4. 8.10PM Sky Racing Open – 515 metres
#5 Coorong Lucy – $1.70 – Bet @ Sportsbet
The South Australian Sprint Champion got a well deserved freshen up the last couple of weeks, traditionally races brilliant fresh and should be at her lid pinging best from box five here.
Has the pace to cross Rushes in the two who’s a worthy opponent, but Coorong Lucy simply doesn’t get run down when she finds the top which she should here.
Race 5. 8.34PM XP3020 Mixed 3/4/5 – 600 metres
#5 Major Havoc – $3.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Sticking with the proven commodity over the six hundred metres, a win last start and a beat under the thirty-five second threshold gives Major Havoc the nod over Jack’s Well who’s a big watch on debut here.
The box shouldn’t bother him, has one of the quickest first sections should be able to cross the inside quartet and sustain speed throughout controlling the race.
Race 6. 8.55PM Kurt Donsberg Photography Grade 5 – 515 metres
#6 Blister – $7 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Huge class drop here has been tackling the likes of Rushes and Shadow Mist and holding his own, back in fifth grade the eight-time winner at the track has a chance to show why his record is so good.
Tippa in box four should give him a lovely run into the race from a wide draw and once he finds a spot up on the speed can run serious time, a personal best of 29.66 last year would put a gap in these, is a winner from wide draws too.
Race 7. 9.16PM Greyhounds as Pets Grade 5 – 515 metres
#1 Hali’s Girl – $3 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Does her best work from inside draws with an incredible 4.34 first section that would see her leading the likes of Coorong Lucy, if she gets on the lure is a different bitch running a 30.04 best from the red rug.
Boasts two wins and two minors from the draw and if she leads could break their hearts with a middle-section to back up the first, you don’t want anyone on her tail late can tire.
Race 8. 9.40PM Accell Therapy Mixed Series – 515 metres
#3 Dissociative – $6 – Bet @ Sportsbet
A win and four runner-ups in his last five, has limited experience here over the 515 but is learning fast, gets out well, consolidates in the middle and is forming a better and better run home.
Was just defeated by Emerley Zero last week who is favourite here from box two, if he can follow her out and sit nice and close should run over the top of her late.
Race 9. 9.59PM TAB Live Sky Racing Grade 6 – 515 metres
#4 Tidelands – $3.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Out of the powerful Kirin Corby kennel did everything right on debut last week straight to the front and never in danger clocking in at 30.15.
The jump to grade 6 is only minor, plenty of these have found their ceilings where he’s only just begun, if he can jump in 4.47 again should only be tougher in the latter stages of this race.
Race 10. 10.17PM @THEDOGSSA Free for All – 731 metres
#2 Miss Bellawood – $2.80 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Has improved time wise every time out since stepping up from the sprint three starts ago, wins her races by getting on the bunny and running and her fitness is shining through in recent performances.
Will be first to the fence here with the slowly served Raylene Bale in the one who has a habit of getting held up, she’ll be making her own luck on the lure.
Race 11. 10.35PM We Love Our Dogs Grade 6 – 515 metres
#1 Rosie Red – $2.10 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Picks herself here, led up in listed company at start eight and Jack’s Well was only able to grab her right in the shadows of the post.
Comes up in the same draw but gets a huge drop in grade, should get out in front again and find enough to punch out a good win.
