Angle Park Greyhound Racing Tips
Race 1. 7.04PM Sky Racing Stake – 515 metres
#5 Emerley Zero – $2.60 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Time is no barrier for this chaser coming up to start number six is racing as well as ever winning his last three at Angle Park all in serious time.
Is versatile over the 388 metres where he’s learnt great box manners which shine through over the longer trip, the key to this race will be holding Alfieri out from box seven and he should do so the way he’s been leaving.
Race 2. 7.25PM Accell Therapy Maiden – 515 metres
#1 Way Too Much – $3.90 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Bounced back well after a fall at just his second race start, confidence could have been dented but he chased well behind the impressive Victa Reid at track and trip last time.
Should come out of that encounter with a boatload of confidence, comes up with box one again giving him every chance to make his own luck where his main rival Stranger Tides will have to overcome the seven and is a markedly shorter price.
Race 3. 7.43PM BGC Industrial Cleaning Supplies Grade 6 – 515 metres
#2 Tidelands – $1.80 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Hard to deny the form lines around leading trainer Kirin Corby’s youngster here, narrowly defeated by Victa Reid on debut a dog who’s gone on to win again since and up in grade has run fourth and third without getting the start right.
Gets every opportunity here from a good draw to pounce on the lead and run this mix of youngsters and veterans into the ground, class should prevail.
Race 4. 8.04PM Only At The Dogs Free for All – 731 metres
#1 Raylene Bale – $4 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Hasn’t been running up to her ability the last few starts finding trouble back in the field, but is always full of running and seems a matter of time until she gets close enough to strike.
Springvale Anna has taken over this race in recent weeks and managed to lead last week something she won’t be able to do from box eight here, she needs a start of Raylene Bale and she probably won’t get it.
Race 5. 8.25PM TAB Make a Date Grade 5 – 515 metres
#7 Fantastic Pippa – $2.40 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Has plenty in her favour here, two starts ago was a 29.76 winner in fourth/fifth grade company pouncing on the front from box eight for a nine-length demolition while running her personal best.
Has an outstanding record from box eight and gets a chance from seven here, she should clear the eight early and scoot across the face of these with a quick first section, she’s only getting stronger in the run too.
Race 6. 8.46PM Greyhounds as Pets Grade 5 – 515 metres
#3 Mahogany Row – $8 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Worth having a crack at this former Queenslander first up, has been out of action since late last year but ran some serious time in city class over the five and six hundred metre journeys in Brisbane.
Will likely get back here, but if the engine is still in tact expect him to be charging home over the top of some dogs who haven’t tasted success here either.
Race 7. 9.10PM XP3020 Mixed ¾ – 515 metres
#2 Sweet Rose – $7 – Bet @ Sportsbet
A couple of notable runner-up performances her last couple of times out, dropped back to the sprint at the provincials and hit the line strong over the four hundred, was back up to the five hundred last week and was beaten while running 29.96 from a wide draw.
Gets her favourite box the checks where she’s won four times from and should get plenty of room with American Man set to run up the track early, big each-way hope.
Race 8. 9.28PM 2021 SA Launching Pad – 515 metres
#3 Gemtree Maximus – $3.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Was faultless at box rise again in the heats last week cruising to a sizeable lead out of the straight on his way to a 29.77 win, does take the short steps late but is getting quicker with each run.
Has shown he can ping and lead from the pink or do it from box three it doesn’t matter he’s going to be bunny hunting and it’ll be up to the other to catch him.
Race 9. 9.49PM @THEDOGSSA Grade 6 – 515 metres
#4 Time Wise – $3 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Didn’t quite measure up in the Launching Pad heats last week when jumping from box eight the task was a bit too tall.
Has the best exposed form here in the past, was a recent winner over the short course and has tasted success in decent time over the five hundred as well, the massive drop in grade will do no harm either.
Race 10. 10.11PM Giddy-Up Grade 6 – 515 metres
#7 Victa Saige – $6 – Bet @ Sportsbet
The kennel has shown a real commitment to racing over the five hundred at Angle Park with this bitch all dozen of her starts have come at the track, winning twice in that space of time.
Draws off the track here and it just might suit, has been getting cluttered up in the middle of the line, can jump on her night and run a drum.
Race 11. 10.32PM Kurt Donsberg Photography Grade 6 – 515 metres
#1 Burning Nitro – $2.60 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Hasn’t found many races to suit over her career here, needs the right draw and grade of dog and she gets both of those things here.
Improves lengths from box one with a 30.14 run to her name here and will be every chance to find the front early and come away for an elusive win.
