Angle Park Greyhound Racing Tips
Race 1. 7.10PM Book the Angle Park Eight’s Mixed 4/5/6 – 730 metres
#2 Aston Kipchoge – Bet @ Sportsbet
As honest as they come this chaser who’s been going up against the best stayers to roll through the state the last few years.
Has always been a few lengths off going on a winning streak, but will put himself on the pace and sail along at one speed, he’s well over the odds in the double digit range.
Race 2. 7.28PM Fresh Food Pet Co Maiden – 530 metres
#4 Foreshadow – Bet @ Sportsbet
Fantastic to see the progeny of local Group One champion Sennachie hitting the ground for breeder/trainer Kirin Corby.
The kennel will be acutely aware of what makes the breed tick and have gone to Harbor Missing to breed this promising pup who gets her first of hopefully many looks at the Angle Park five hundred metre circuit this Thursday.
Race 3. 7.49PM Sky Racing Grade Five Series Heat One – 530 metres
#6 Bruce Mick Glenn – Bet @ Sportsbet
Did everything but win in an outstanding South Australian debut last week, plenty of reasons to put in a bad one first up from NSW but chased hard running 30.46 in a game defeat.
Natural improvement should see him progress further than that this week as long as he handles box six, is generally reliable at the jump.
Race 4. 8.10PM At The Dogs South Australia Grade Five Series Heat Two – 530 metres
#3 Molly Blinders – Bet @ Sportsbet
Really progressive type, has taken a while to get to Thursday night metropolitan standard but after finally knocking off her first five hundred win here a month ago has gone from strength to strength.
Most recently ran around here in 30.56 and is looking for three in a row here, has been bouncing beautifully and maps to beat the one and two dog to the fence here.
Race 5. 8.28PM Greyhounds as Pets Grade Five Series Heat Three – 530 metres
#3 Spring Agatha – Bet @ Sportsbet
Another bitch who’s only just spring to prominence recently holding some golden form lines beating home Fly for Trix over the sprint and Zipping Nebraska over the middle distance.
That reads really well for a fifth grade contest like this where she should get things her own way on the pace from another handy draw.
Race 6. 8.49PM Giddy-Up Juvenile Stake – 530 metres
#4 Fantastic Faith – Bet @ Sportsbet
This bitch was already going to be a big chance in this race but the scratching of the three and two dogs have left her with a golden opportunity to continue her run of form.
She’s been running huge races winning from box eight, but this time gets room to move closer to the rail, the red dog has pace but she should get the sit and come over the top.
Race 7. 9.10PM XP3020 South Australian Owned Free for All – 530 metres
#2 Fantastic Victor – Bet @ Sportsbet
Had his colours lowered over the six hundred metres by Victa Haydyn last week but that’s no disgrace losing to that chaser.
Drops back here to the sprint after a sustained run over the six hundred metres where by and large he was dominant, hopefully brings the same box speed and will have a new found run home to go with it over this journey.
Race 8. 9.32PM 2022 Breeders Prelude One – 530 metres
#4 Sir Benjamin – Bet @ Sportsbet
Have always had time for this young chaser right from his debut where he did plenty wrong but still found the line with gusto.
Has nine starts to his name now and another couple of wins under the belt, because of his get back style always comes up a good price in races like this if you’re happy to ride your luck early.
Race 9. 9.55PM BGC Industrial Cleaning Supplies Grade 5 – 530 metres
#8 Gemtree Apollo – Bet @ Sportsbet
Could be the big improver here, has only had the three runs around this circuit for a win and a minor and is beautifully boxed in the eight here where he has a ripping first split and winning record from.
Has done good things over the slightly shorter distances at the provincials and looks ready to take on this class of race.
Race 10. 10.13PM Kurt Donsberg Photography Grade 6 – 530 metres
#1 Midoriyama – Bet @ Sportsbet
He only has an average win strike rate this dog but he’s been around the mark lately and won’t find an easier assignment than this.
Plenty of these are still finding their way while he’s forty-six starts in, he has his limits but from box one if he does things right he wins.
Race 11. 10.38PM Accell Therapy Grade 6 – 530 metres
#1 Lucius Malfoy – Bet @ Sportsbet
Looks the good thing of the night, went around at a nice price first up from Queensland last start almost snatching victory late.
Is boxed much better this week, should be close to the speed and will take inside runs all the way to his first SA win.
Race 12. 11.02PM TAB Long May We Play Grade 6 – 530 metres
#2 Under Study – Bet @ Sportsbet
A veteran who doesn’t do a lot long which has resulted in a couple of wins and a minor his last three starts here at Angle Park.
Won’t run the hands off the clock but doesn’t need to in this grade, should stalk the speed and find some in the tank late.
