Angle Park Greyhound Racing Tips
Race 1. 7:04PM You.Me.6weeks Stakes – 515 metres
#1 Two Times Twice – $1.80 – Bet Now
Ben Rawlings grand old stager brings up career start 112 here, but age has not slowed him done one bit his last four runs at Angle Park all well under the thirty second threshold.
Not only is he looking spritely but finds a nice class drop here back from open company and if he’s in striking distance mid-race should bring up career win 39.
Race 2. 7:25PM Sentrack On The Sen App – 515 metres
#7 Spring Cuervo – $6 – Bet Now
Hasn’t been running up to his potential of late but finds a race here he could really bounce back to winning form.
Drawn box seven is a big plus, has an excellent record from the outside boxes at the track and has superior speed to get across in he is on his game early.
His last win here came back in February, but was in a scintillating 29.67 if he can recapture that form he looks a great each way bet.
Race 3. 7:46PM Sky Racing Free For All – 731 metres
#2 Sir Truculent – $1.60 – Bet Now
You’re asked to take that short quote again this week but the dog is absolutely flying and clearly the best stayer in South Australia.
He moves out from $1.10 last week to $1.60 this week with the inclusion of Couture in the field, capable on his day but tends to find a lot of trouble and is drawn to find more in box seven.
Sir Truculent may get back but don’t panic he’ll be flying late.
Race 4. 8:10PM BGC Industrial Cleaning Supplies – 515 metres
#8 Sprite Monelli – $4 – Bet Now
Big effort here last week half a length behind Long Gully Barney, the former Perth bitch had not raced for two months until winning on her South Australian debut late last month over the short course and showed she has the 520 covered too.
Ideal outside draw here gives her plenty of room to work early, inside brigade are drawn to find trouble, should improve on last week and go one better.
Race 5. 8:28PM Giddy-Up Mixed Stakes – 600 metres
#4 Double By Design – $3 – Bet Now
Winning form is good form for Double Design and since stepping up to the 600 metres he’s been fault less winning out of box seven a fortnight ago and box one last week.
The field is no harder than his last two runs but he does have to navigate the middle draw, with his propensity to lead have to give him the benefit of the doubt to be prominent in the run again and be the one to beat.
Race 6. 8:49PM Accell Therapy Queens Stakes – 515 metres
#2 Burning Nitro – $11 – Bet Now
First try over the 515 metres here on Monday was full on merit, not brilliantly away stuck on well going down by a quarter of a length.
Is capable of beginning much better and drawn inside Cawbourne Coco is a huge plus as she will run up the track giving him plenty of room to vie for the lead early.
Even is he gets tired late looks and ideal each way play.
Race 7. 9:14PM Kurt Donsberg Photography Stakes – 515 metres
#7 Songs and Stories – $3.80 – Bet Now
Has struggled to find his feet around Angle Park but start number six at the track he’s starting to figure things out and if the Victorian can run anywhere up to his 29.53 Sandown Park form this is his race for the taking.
Has never started from box seven but has three starts from the eight all in the placings, in a moderate field Troy Murray’s chaser gets his chance.
Race 8. 9:33PM The Dogs SA Owned Grade 5 – 515 metres
#6 Fantastic Reef – $3 – Bet Now
Fantastic Reef goes on top here in what is sure to be a fantastic contest, in form dogs galore in this field but Fantastic Reef is probably going the best.
Had it all his own way from box one last week surging late to win and will probably have to come from behind to win again this week with plenty of early speed from Fantastic Pippa (7) and Victa Caleb (1).
The dog is six from six at track and trip and although this is his biggest test he continues to step up.
Race 9. 9:56PM Secure Racing Logistics Mixed Stakes – 515 metres
#8 Danyo’s Charlie – Bet Now
Meets Spring Vinnie again after coming out on top in last weeks contest by half a length, both dogs drawing the same boxes look for them to fight this out.
Danyo’s Charlie has been near enough bulletproof from outside draws and Spring Vinnie will likely have to do all the chasing to catch him from behind.
Race 10. 10:15PM GRSA.COM.AU Division 3 Stakes – 515 metres
#7 American Man – Bet Now
Big drop in class for Lisa Rasmussen’s dog who’s been chasing home South Australia’s best sprinters It’s a Riot and Alfieri and has been far from disgraced.
Last win here was from box eight in 29.72, if he gets away well from out wide there aren’t any that will be running him down in this field.
