Angle Park Greyhound Racing Tips
Race 1. 7.07PM Book the Angle Park 8’s Open – 731 metres
#1 Lashes Monelli – $1.25 – Bet @ Sportsbet
One for your multi’s, she needed a freshen up after her complete domination over this track and trip and after a couple of weeks off should come back better than ever.
She’ll give a few of these a start but gets going mid-race and is an expert at picking her way through a field and will outstay all of her rivals here.
Race 2. 7.28PM Sky Racing Maiden – 530 metres
#4 Sweet Panama – $6 – Bet @ Sportsbet
These maiden races are very hard to play and punters should let the market be their guide but expect support for Sweet Panama who never got a look in on debut.
Out of American sire Superior Panama she was well in the market first up and if things go his way early has the pedigree to run a race here.
Race 3. 7.49PM 2021 Brian Johnstone Group Three Heat One – 530 metres
#5 Earthworm Jim – $2.40 – Bet @ Sportsbet
As long as this youngster has travelled well from Victoria to South Australia I’d almost have him as the best of the night.
Did some stunning things early in his career in Melbourne at the metro tracks a mix and speed and strength that should suit the 530 at Angle and a series like this down to the ground.
Race 4. 8.10PM 2021 Brian Johnstone Group Three Heat Two – 530 metres
#5 Simply Chaos – $4.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet
May benefit from a bit of chaos early here, box one wants to get up the track while box two wants to get to the fence, meaning both favourites could be undone early.
This dog was much improved running a 30.87 second last week and with similar box manners could avoid the trouble and sail to the front here.
Race 5. 8.28PM 2021 Brian Johnstone Group Three Heat Three – 530 metres
#2 Blue by You – $3.20 – Bet @ Sportsbet
He’ll be giving them a start early but when the young dogs are on weary legs late this is the one you’ll want to be one coming off some great middle-distance form.
Was behind Group placed Run Like Jess and the classy Barbados Express recently at Gawler and can bide his time here and finish with a rush over the top.
Race 6. 8.52PM BGC Industrial Cleaning Supplies 3/4/5 – 595 metres
#3 Victa Haydn – $2.40 – Bet @ Sportsbet
If Earthworm Jim isn’t your cup of tea this chaser can be your best of the night, he’s in a dazzling vein of form coming back from interference last start to trump Barbados Express.
Has a huge motor over the journey and although there’s some solid competition here his turn of foot is on another level.
Race 7. 9.13PM Only at The Dogs Grade 5 – 530 metres
#3 See You Smile – $5.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Was hard done by last week was all but over to the fence from her draw and was checked badly, she picked herself up to run third but was never a winning chance.
Draws a cosier alley this week and has already clocked a 30.55 best in just three runs here, is on an upward trend and can win this at a nice price.
Race 8. 9.37PM TAB Make a Date Grade 5 – 530 metres
#5 Victory Chase – $4.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Had been a prolific winner at various different tracks and differences but hadn’t ticked off Angle Park until he speared out of box seven to win a couple of weeks ago and backed it up with a strong second.
With a background in straight track racing generally runs a beautiful line out of the boxes, the five shouldn’t worry him at all and he can get away with this mid-race.
Race 9. 9.59PM Greyhounds as Pets Grade 6 – 530 metres
#1 Snakebite Diva – $4 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Has been tossed around over the short course and traditional sprint distances early in her career and despite some poor runs has shown enough to suggest she’s more than adequate at both trips.
Has the advantage of the one here where she’ll be every chance of leading this, first up back over the 530 is the only question, but willing to find out.
Race 10. 10.17PM Giddy-Up Grade 4 – 530 metres
#1 Adele’s Entity – $2.20 – Bet @ Sportsbet
The only worry with this bitch is that she’s fallen at two of her last four starts, on the plus side she’s won her other two and has been in career best form before that.
Should come out running from the red here, extend mid-race and those chasing late will be doing so in vane.
Race 11. 10.36PM XP3020 Grade 6 – 530 metres
#4 Victa Saige – $3.40 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Simply too talented to keep missing out over the sprint trip here, has handled the six hundred with aplomb but just hasn’t got her start right yet.
She’s better than grade six company and just needs luck to go her way to the first turn and she could win and run some time here.
Race 12. 10.57PM Kurt Donsberg Photography Grade 6 – 530 metres
#8 Psychotic Babe – $3.80 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Was disappointed in her run last week after a black book performance the week before but still think she’s one worth sticking with.
Has showed flashes of brilliance in her races just hasn’t put it all together, should step better and take closer order in this field.
