Angle Park Greyhound Racing Tips

Race 1. 7.07PM Book the Angle Park 8’s – 595 metres

#4 Barbados Express – $3.40 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Ripping chaser will never let you down with a lack of trying, does his best work when he bounces to the front but recent runs at Gawler show he’ll run on from well back too.

Confidence is high right no riding a winning streak, the rest of this field have been going okay around here but he’s got class on his side.

Race 2. 7.28PM Sky Racing Maiden – 530 metres

#1 Express Speed – $2.90 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Flew the lids from out wide last week but in tough conditions was just checked trying to cross to the rail, battled on after that but was never a winning hope.

Big advantage from box one here at Angle and if he shows the same manners should be on the lure humming here.

Race 3. 7.49PM BGC Industrial Cleaning Supplies Maiden – 530 metres

#1 Ritza Apache – $3.40 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Has been in the betting in both his career starts, but has never found the clear running he needs to show the ability that some clearly think he has.

He gets his opportunity here in a small field from box one up against competition that’s not going to blow him away, keep your eye out for betting moves closer to the jump in these maiden races.

Race 4. 8.10PM Only at The Dogs Juvenile – 530 metres

#8 Psychotic Babe – $4.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Would prefer her to draw an inside box but it was some kind of run last week forced to work overtime off the track she was still hitting the line hard to run second.

If she can just get away slightly better she clearly doesn’t mind sitting outside dogs and running on, hasn’t missed the money in her last four and shouldn’t again here.

Race 5. 8.28PM 2021 Leigh Rogers Grade 6 Final – 530 metres

#5 Mallee Magic – $3.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet

In one word was dominant last week, the wide draw was a question that he answered with gusto straight to the front and streaking away from out wide running 30.51 in the wet.

He does have some speed outside him here, so will need to jump again, but at his best is a class above and will be racing in bigger finals in the years to come.

Race 6. 8.52PM @thedogssa Non-Penalty – 530 metres

#8 Alfieri – $3.80 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Wound back the clock last week to when he was the best sprinter in South Australia putting a six length gap in them while running 30.56.

Despite the time he got tired late with no recent five hundred experience and should only be better second up from box eight where he should sail across and take up the running.

Race 7. 9.13PM TAB Make a Date Grade 5 – 530 metres

#2 Victory Chase – $4.20 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Was thrown in the deep end coming from Victoria straight into Group company at Gawler, he wasn’t at his best there but persevered to score a solid 30.79 win here last week.

Did that from out in box seven and while he tackles a tougher field is far better suited from the checks, will be making his own luck in the run.

Race 8. 9.37PM Greyhounds as Pets Mixed 3/4/5 – 530 metres

#3 Jack’s Well – $2.20 – Bet @ Sportsbet

His resume speaks for itself, has always done his best work here at Angle Park and finds the right race to bounce back from Gawler Cup Final disappointment.

The last time he was here he was running third in the Adelaide Cup against some of the countries best, will come up skinny but should be winning here.

Race 9. 9.58PM Giddy-Up Grade 6 – 530 metres

#7 Oseye Bale – $5 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Tough to win first up in a new state but her Victorian form lines hold up well here and if she’s come across in good condition could be winning at a handy price here.

Only the two race wins but has always been in much tougher company than this, is seemingly always I and around the money and the change of kennels could do the trick.

Race 10. 10.22PM XP3020 Grade 6 – 530 metres

#5 Aston Wines – $3.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet

We haven’t seen the best of this chaser yet who’s been up and down over his seven career starts but his two wins here at track and trip have been quality and a run up the straight should have him pinging the lids and going straight to the front for a first out first home win.

Race 11. 10.40PM Kurt Donsberg Grade 6 – 530 metres

#1 Midnight Blast – $2.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Impressive young type that’s on a tear at the moment, was held up from box eight first time here at Angle Park last start but moves from box eight to box one and should show a clean set of heels.

Is going at almost a fifty percent winning strike rate in his career and can pad the stats here.

Race 12. 10.58PM Accell Therapy Grade 6 – 530 metres

#5 Jamie Lanister – $4.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Gets the perfect cart into the race with plenty of speed in box four and nothing to annoy him outside.

Has been on a winning tear of recent times from the short course to the traditional sprint and finds another winnable race here.
