Angle Park Greyhound Racing Tips
Race 1. 7.10PM G-Six Kurt Donsberg Photography Mixed 4/5 – 515 metres
#2 Power Stone – $2.20 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Has been a force to be reckoned with at the track and distance three wins and a second from four starts and is currently on a run of five consecutive wins.
This is a rise in class but the times he’s been running have these well and truly covered, only needs to beat More More More out from box one and looks a clear leader that will run sub thirty.
Race 2. 7.34PM Saturdaygrey Racing Maiden – 515 metres
#2 Time Wise – $1.90 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Small field with a couple of veterans that have had twenty plus starts here without winning this product of Fernando Bale and Purpose Driven from the Cameron Butcher yard looks perfectly placed to come out and win on debut.
The other debutant Stress the Point has to be respected if backed but happy to be with the dog with the inside draw.
Race 3. 7.55PM G-Six BGC Industrial Cleaning Supplies Grade 6 – 515 metres
#4 Nockatunga – $3.60 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Improving type has done all his racing here over track and distance and while not completely wowing has been a consistent with two wins and two minors.
Runs even sectionals throughout and if he can get across and sit outside the leader is every chance of running around 30.15 which should get him home here.
Race 4. 8.13PM TAB Create Your Spring Calendar Free for All – 515 metres
#8 It’s a Riot – $3.20 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Has been nearing a win, form lines couldn’t be any better behind Group One Adelaide Cup champion Golden Knight and Million Dollar Chase finalist Shadow Mist.
Ultimate professional doesn’t run a bad race and if he can hold Danyo’s Charlie out who’ll be coming across from the pink, he should have the strength to bring home a win.
Race 5. 8.37PM G-Six Sky Racing SA Owned Grade 5 – 515 metres
#8 Woodside Zulu – $2.80 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Drops big time in grade here and is well and truly capable or running a drum in this field, isn’t quick early but should be safe enough getting over from box eight.
Doesn’t have to worry about the likes of Coorong Nugget, Taken and other top graders here and last time he was in this grade scored in 29.87.
Race 6. 8.58PM G-Six Giddy-Up SA Owned Grade 5 – 515 metres
#5 Cawbourne Sophie – $6 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Sticking with this chaser on each way basis, she’s just been finding ways to get in trouble recently and this race looks spot on for her to show her best.
Box speed is generally much better than what she’s been showing, likes o course a little wide in the run and with no pressure outside box five looks ideal.
Race 7. 9.22PM G-Six XP3020 SA Owned Grade 5 – 515 metres
#1 Fantastic Shell – $2.40 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Run full of merit last week finishing third behind Power Stone having do work hard in the cheap seats from box eight throughout, before that was a slick 29.70 winner.
Her best first sectional here is from box one in 4.45 to the mark, should be able to punch up the fence and lead, improving type and look for a good performance.
Race 8. 9.43PM G-Six Accell Therapy Mixed 3/4/5 – 600 metres
#2 Rajasthan – $2.70 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Looks like an interesting duel with Defy who draws box eight here, which really doesn’t suit him is mad for the inside and Rajasthan maps to get straight to the rail with his early speed.
Defy will be rattling late but Rajasthan is a front running expert over the six hundred and could put this race to bed with a good jump.
Race 9. 10.08PM G-Six Follow The Dogs SA Grade 6 – 515 metres
#2 Rugged and Ready – $2.10 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Upside is huge here with this young chaser, excellent form at Gawler with two wins and last start was brave running third in 30.08 from a wide draw.
Has two wins and two minors from box two and mid-race power should prove the difference between him and Allinga Chloe in the red.
Race 10. 10.26PM We Love Our Dogs Free for All – 731 metres
#1 Sir Truculent – $1.20 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Was back to his brilliant best winning in listed company last week, his form has been questioned but Wally Harkins had him spot on for the big stage.
The price is short but if you want a multi leg he won’t get beaten here, small field, inside box, excellent form lines he’ll notch up another one.
Race 11. 10.47PM G-Six GAP SA Grade 6 – 515 metres
#2 Mercedes Monelli – $3.90 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Needed one more stride last week to get up and win in good time just ran out of distance, that’s the way she races should drop behind the leaders on the fence and come late with a finishing burst, deserves a bit of luck.
Ran 30.05 in just missing out, a time more than capable of taking down Grade Six dogs and getting back to winning ways.
