Angle Park Greyhound Racing Tips
Race 1. 7.04PM 2020 Leigh Rogers Grade 6 Series Heat 1 – 515 metres
#2 Fly For Trix – $1.60 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Did what he needed to do at a short quote from a similar draw here last week, this company doesn’t look any more challenging than that and he can go much quicker than his 29.84 win.
A 4.34 first section and 29.53 personal best and far too good for Grade Six company, he’s a $1.60 for a reason.
Race 2. 7.25PM 2020 Leigh Rogers Grade 6 Series Heat 2 – 515 metres
#7 Lily Pad – $5.70 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Could be the big improver here, third run over from a successful Victorian career has picked up where she left off a couple of wins and a third in three starts in SA including a 29.92 performance last start.
Express Eve and My Little Shelby are much shorter and don’t have anything on this bitch on the clock, she looks over the odds.
Race 3. 7.43PM 2020 Leigh Rogers Grade 6 Series Heat 3 – 515 metres
#1 Cawbourne Blaze – $3.80 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Apart from his last start win numerical form isn’t great but the inside draw could make the world of difference here.
Has been posted in box seven four of his last five and comes up with the red for the first time in his career, should land much closer to the front and runs on well.
Race 4. 8.07PM 2020 Leigh Rogers Grade 6 Series Heat 4 – 515 metres
#1 Zipping Marshall – $2.40 – Bet @ Sportsbet
The Victorian looks a special here if he’s on his behaviour at box rise, almost led his Adelaide Cup Heat if not for the early speed of Coorong Lucy.
Has had a few weeks between runs and comes up with the red again in a much easier grade, should be winning.
Race 5. 8.28PM 2020 Leigh Rogers Grade 6 Series Heat 5 – 515 metres
#3 Victa Jess – $6 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Does her best work over the six hundred metres and will likely be led up early here but if she gets the camp on the favourite in box one she could get the run of the race and be the one coming home best.
She is a leader over the six hundred, so shouldn’t be too far ff these just needs to keep in touch.
Race 6. 8.52PM G-Six TAB Create Your Spring Calendar Mixed 3/4/5 – 600 metres
#2 Defy – $2 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Gun dog with a gun draw, gets back to his favourite distance where he’s six from eight at the track, knows how to find the fence early and turns on the gas mid-race.
As long as he avoids trouble around the first turn, he should put this one to bed fairly painlessly.
Race 7. 9.13PM G-Six Sky Racing Mixed 2/3/4 – 515 metres
#5 Rushes – $2.10 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Is overdue for a win, has been racing in the toughest possible company and not quite getting the breaks in the run, even though he’s not quick away should tuck in behind them from box five and unleash a finish.
Loves getting to the outside of the track and circling them late, looks the ideal race.
Race 8. 9.37PM G-Six Giddy-Up Mixed 4/5 – 515 metres
#4 Hot Spartan – $5 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Consistent type at track and trip coming off a strong second where he had to work hard the whole way around from box eight and still ran 30.10.
Was in Free for All company before then and not disgraced, is two from two from box four and has gone 4.44 early, suited.
Race 9. 9.58PM XP3020 Free for All – 731 metres
#1 Wooden Tiger – $4 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Going against distance star Sir Truculent here, Wooden Tiger’s performance only run down late last week was huge considering the jump from the five hundred to seven hundred metres.
We are banking on him taking a lot out of that run and in a small field should go forward and make his own luck and have the $1.40 favourite flat out chasing again.
Race 10. 10.20PM G-Six Accell Therapy – 515 metres
#1 Ask Me Now – $2.40 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Box one specialist has never missed the money from the draw and although unlikely to lead this field has the experience and form to take the trail and come home best.
Went 29.77 here from this draw just a fortnight ago, is warming to the shorter trip and is the one to beat.
Race 11. 10.38PM G-Six BGC Industrial Cleaning Supplies Grade 5 – 515 metres
#2 Zipping Ted – $3.20 – Bet @ Sportsbet
May not be the easiest watch for punters with his racing style where he gets well back and runs on, but is by far the strongest dog in this small field and with an ounce of luck will come over the top of these.
Inside draw is key, should let the speed go balance up and show some track sense.
Race 12. 11.01PM G-Six Kurt Donsberg Photography Grade 5 – 515 metres
#2 Threaten – $3.80 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Left really well from box seven last week would have led most races but had two kick through inside her leaving her three wide on a limb.
Chased on admirably covering the extra ground to run third, if she gets to the rail first this week should be winning.
