Angle Park Greyhound Racing Tips
Race 1. 7.08PM TAB Long May We Play Mixed 5/6 – 595 metres
#6 Rugged and Ready – $2.70 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Has raced superbly here over the 595 metres challenging Run Like Jess and Barbados Express his last two runs at big odds and making them work for the win.
This is a much easier ask and if he keeps showing out in the first two or three from the boxes will put himself in the box seat to win this.
Race 2. 7.27PM Tab Play Central Maiden – 530 metres
#7 Express Black – $4.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Has been crowded in his two race starts from inside and middle draws and parked out in the seven might appreciate a bit of room to get into his work.
Has chased gamely behind good opposition in both outings at track and trip and looks poised to display his true potential.
Race 3. 7.49PM TAB Country Cup Open Series – 530 metres
#5 It’s Smudgy – $8.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Plenty of value to be found with this prolific winner who’s knocked off eighteen of thirty-four races showing he’s capable over the short course and the sprint trip.
That early pace propelled him to an impressive Gawler win over this distance last time out and a similar run puts him right in the mix here.
Race 4. 8.08PM TAB Venue Mode Juvenile – 530 metres
#1 Don’t Tell Lies – $3.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Crosses paths with Mallee Magic who lowered her colours last time, but the way the boxes have fallen here she gets a golden chance at revenge.
Zinfadel Nikki in the two likes to head straight up the track hopefully taking the favourite with her and leaving a saloon passage for Don’t Tell Lies from the rails draw.
Race 5. 8.28PM TAB 2021 Premiers Cup Open – 730 metres
#2 Lashes Monelli – $3.80 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Even with the re-emergence of South Australian champion Sir Truculent here am gobsmacked to see Lashes Monelli at this price seeing she’s had the wood on Fantastic Radley the last two times out.
She gives them a start but the last section of her race is electric and out and out stayer who can win a cracking edition of this race.
Race 6. 8.48PM 2021 Adelaide Cup Group One Consolation – 530 metres
#4 Mr. Fix It – $2.40 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Took a monumental run from Weblec Blazer to track him down in the heats where he did what was expected pinging the lids and running time, it just wasn’t fast enough.
He looks the outright leader again here from the draw and should only improve on the 30.32 he posted last week, it’ll take some sort of run to lower that mark.
Race 7. 9.08PM TAB Long May We Play Mixed 4/5 – 530 metres
#8 Hot Spartan – $3 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Has gone to a new level since the opening of the new track, has never missed the money headlined by a couple of 30.56 and 30.47 wins.
Can make tracks early, I’s not easy to get across from the pink but he’s done it his whole career and has shown once he’s on the bunny he’s hard to shake.
Race 8. 9.28PM 2021 Adelaide Cup Group One – 530 metres
#2 Do It – $9 – Bet @ Sportsbet
This is a stacked race as you’d expect for the states marquee race, and Do It is a dog who’s been knocking on the door in similar type events and has slid under the radar here.
Was unheralded in Brisbane behind Tommy Shelby and has added six hundred strength to his forte since then.
If he jumps with the inside brigade he’s as strong as any dog here bar Aston Rupee, he’s a must have at the price.
Race 9. 9.48PM TAB Play Central Grade 6 – 530 metres
#8 Spring Agatha – $2 – Bet @ Sportsbet
The favourite is drawn to get a gun run here, her main rival in the seven has early speed to match but it’s advantage Agatha when they really get into their work.
Has been smashing the clock at Gawler and has the class to bring that form to the metro meet.
Race 10. 10.08PM TAB Venue Mode Grade 5 – 530 metres
#4 Cawbourne Hope – $3.80 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Maps beautifully in this race, has been front running over the sprint and middle-distance and should follow Adele’s Entity out here before overwhelming her mid stages.
Has won in good time from the five hundred right up to the 643 metres, has early pace and strength in spades.
Race 11. 10.28PM TAB Long May We Play Grade 6 – 530 metres
#1 Spring Drama – $3 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Plumets in grade here after tackling the likes of Zinfadel Nikki in her past few starts, has lost no admirers either running in the placings each of those occasions.
An inside draw should only help, a winner from box one before in her career she’s got a chance to knock one off on Cup night.
Race 12. 10.49PM TAB Play Grade 6 – 530 metres
#1 Gorgeous George – $14 – Bet @ Sportsbet
A bit of value in the last on the card, he’s yet to fire here at the track but George comes up a big price for a dog of his capabilities.
Has recent wins over the short course and if he brings that pace early will be an entirely different dog out in front.
