Angle Park Greyhound Racing Tips
Race 1. 7.04PM Book the Angle Park 8’s Grade 5 – 595 metres
#1 Couture – $7 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Has always been an enigmatic type capable of great things on his night, but does mix his form.
It was great to see him back on the right track last week rattling home into third first look at the new track and trip here, should get the camp in behind these leaders and pose a real threat late.
Race 2. 7.22PM Fresh Pet Food Co Maiden – 530 metres
#5 Psychotic Babe – $4.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Worth a second look after her third placed run last week, you could tell she was new to racing because she was all over the shop during the run yet still managed to ping the lids and find the line.
If she can spring out to the front again she now’s had a look at the place and had no trouble with the 530 metre start.
Race 3. 7.43PM Sky Racing Juvenile – 530 metres
#7 Don’t Tell Lies $3.80 – Bet @ Sportsbet
There’s plenty to like about her first eight starts, a three-time winner all of those coming in the last couple of months over the four and five hundred at Murray Bridge.
Springvale Max in the five has plenty of early burn and should take her right into the race. That’s if she doesn’t take things into her own hands and find the top early.
Race 4. 8.07PM Adelaide Cup Dine and Dash Promotion Grade 6 – 530 metres
#4 Steal the Prize – $2 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Short quote but more than justified, looks the real deal dropping back from open company behind South Australian Sprint Champion Rushes who he was only three lengths off at his last start.
Incredibly well graded in Class Six, hasn’t seen the track under race conditions is the only question, if he runs up to ability he wins by a space.
Race 5. 8.28PM Greyhounds as Pets – 530 metres
#7 Defy – $3.80 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Continues to Defy age still mixing it with some of the best middle-distance dogs in South Australia.
The five hundred has always been a bit too short for him, but the 530 could work especially in a race devoid of early speed, if he can overcome the seven early he’ll have this shot to bits.
Race 6. 8.52PM Kompletecare Community and Home Grade 5 – 530 metres
#6 George the First – $3.80 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Interesting move from connections bringing him back from the 595 to the 530, but the race shapes up really well for him with a clear leader in the red rug he just has to bide his time and strike.
Beat some very good dogs last week in a first out first home performance, if he’s not too far off these he’ll be swamping them late.
Race 7. 9.13PM BGC Industrial Cleaning Supplies Grade 5 – 530 metres
#4 Stout Monelli – $3.20 – Bet @ Sportsbet
He was a prolific winner in Western Australia racking up sixteen-wins going at a fifty percent strike rate and he’s brought that form to Adelaide, brilliant trialling in 30.80 on debut last week.
Has built a career as a top-line sprinter turned middle-distance front runner who should love the 530 metre start here.
Race 8. 9.37PM 2021 Kings and Queens Mixed Series – 530 metres
#7 Victa Reid – $4.20 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Huge run last week, missed the kick from box eight and had to circle the entire field to go from last to give winner Meet Joe Black a scare late.
Can begin much better than he did on that occasion, he’ll be wanting to avoid Joe early again who’ll be looking for the front from box eight.
Race 9. 9.59PM Giddy-Up Mixed 5/6 – 730 metres
#8 Bedrock Fred – $2.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet
If ever he was vulnerable it was last week returning to South Australia after a stellar Brisbane campaign, he wasn’t brilliant but did enough to win over the 730 metres.
Dylan’s Magic is a runner who at his best can challenge him, but it’s a bit to ask first up, look for a more polished performance.
Race 10. 10.18PM XP3020 Grade 6 – 530 metres
#1 Zinfadel Oompa – $3.20 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Connections would have been thrilled when they say this bitch draw box one, four starts for three wins and a placing from the red rug.
Has won recently over the four and five hundred at Gawler and will be looking to use early speed to get to the front early and stay there.
Race 11. 10.37PM Accell Therapy Grade 6 – 530 metres
#5 Deadly Mamba – $3.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet
This up and comer has done what not many do and break thirty-one seconds at Gawler something he’s done a couple of times.
Connections have never shied away from tough races and he still boasts five wins at this early stage, looking forward to seeing how he handles Angle.
Race 12. 10.57PM @thedogssa Mixed 4/5 – 530 metres
#2 Rushes – $1.70 – Bet @ Sportsbet
We have to wait until the last race of the night to see the SA sprint champion and it’ll be worth the wait given his form crushing the clock in 30.47 last week.
Speared out from box three on that occasion and has every chance to rinse and repeat second time around.
