Angle Park Greyhound Racing Tips
Race 1. 7.07PM Sky Racing Free for All – 730 metres
#2 Bedrock Fred – $3.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Not prepared to sack Bedrock Fred after being beaten by new rival Lashes Monelli last start, he did have every chance but credit to the other runner who swamped him late.
He’s a straight forward stayer who’ll press forward early and keep his foot on the gas the whole way, Lashes Monelli was impressive but will be relying on the breaks at some stage.
Race 2. 7.25PM 2021 Coffex Coffee Group Three SA Oaks – 530 metres
#8 Queen Redeem – $3.40 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Well and truly the most experienced and best credentialed of this field, a recent arrival from New South Wales she’s settled in a treat trialling in 30.89 track and trip last week.
She’s drawn the eight but is a two-time winner from the draw in the past, expect her to improve on her trial and follow the seven into the race.
Race 3. 7.49PM 2021 Coffex Coffee Group Three SA Oaks – 530 metres
#5 Spring Drama – $5 – Bet @ Sportsbet
The red was too good for Spring Drama last time out but given the small margin and the discrepancy in prices more than happy to take this promising bitch at the quote.
She’s shown natural box manners all through her career and in a field of inexperienced chasers if she can ping and lead like last week she’s a huge chance.
Race 4. 8.10PM TAB Make a Date Grade 5 – 530 metres
#6 My Name’s Craig – $4.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet
One of plenty making their track and trip debut, but if he brings his Melbourne form he’s a huge shout here with some slick wins around the one turn tracks.
He looks the likely leader here and will be making his own luck, whether he’s ready to tackle the 530 metre challenge is the only question.
Race 5. 8.34PM Book the Angle Park 8’s Mixed 4/5 – 530 metres
#1 Spring Vinnie – $3.70 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Looms as one of the bets of the night, has won six of nine starts from the red and never missed the money.
Is also a very versatile type winning between the three hundred and five hundred metres, a recent win at Gawler reading as excellent form for this, he should lead Defy and run them ragged.
Race 6. 8.55PM 2021 BGC Industrial Cleaning Supplies Group Three SA Derby – 530 metres
#8 Gemtree Maximus – $2.40 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Was a force to be reckoned with at the old Angle Park and returning with a four-race winning streak in tow and a box eight draw is set to pick up where he left off.
A prolific winner of fourteen races his box manners continue to improve, look for him to get across from the eight and streak away with this one.
Race 7. 9.19PM 2021 BGC Industrial Cleaning Supplies Group Three SA Derby – 530 metres
#4 Influencer – $6 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Big jump in grade to take on some of these gun young chasers after just one starts, but he couldn’t have been more impressive backing up a slick trial with a fast maiden win here.
Showed good muster on that occasion and drawn the four is not too bad with a vacant to his outside, all he’ll do is improve.
Race 8. 9.40PM Fresh Pet Food Co SA Bred Grade 5 – 530 metres
#3 Hot Spartan – $3 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Looked a sitting duck when Defy sat right on his hammer last week but continued to find and was running away from the gun middle-distance dog at the end.
The run was excellent in 30.47, same draw he should ping again and lead and is showing back-end strength capable of holding these off.
Race 9. 10.02PM Adelaide Cup Dine and Dash Promotion Grade 6 – 530 metres
#1 Adele’s Entity – $2.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Impossible to steer away from the favourite here who will go up shorter than this come the jump.
Her two wins in South Australia have been other worldly pounding out 30.61 and 30.48 back-to-back at track and trip only eight starts into what looks like being a long career.
Race 10. 10.21PM Greyhounds as Pets Grade 6 – 530 metres
#8 Victa Kurt – $3.80 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Has been stuff his last couple of stars running into the talent that is Adele’s Entity, plenty of merit in consecutive third placed finishes though with a fastest time of 30.59.
Has been just behind the leaders in both of those races, if he can find the front middle-sages shut the gate.
Race 11. 10.37PM @thedogs Mixed Stake 4/5/6 – 595 metres
#4 Barbados Express – $4.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Very keen to see this chaser back at the new and improved Angle circuit, won some six hundred metre races in good time around here and has carried his middle-distance form to other tracks.
Is a front runner and won’t want to be too far off them, can unleash a finish when required.
Race 12. 10.57PM Kurt Donsberg Photography Grade 6 – 530 metres
#2 Victa Haydyn – $2.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Was taking everything in front of him until coming to Angle Park and despite doing plenty wrong has two runner-up’s to show for his work.
Third time track and trip he’ll be aware of his surroundings and should get straight on the bunny and go.
