Angle Park Greyhound Racing Tips
Race 1. 7.07PM TAB Venue Mode Free for All – 595 metres
#8 Victa Haydn – $4.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet
They say not to back a dog first time over the middle-distance but this chaser might be the exception to the rule after a scintillating come from behind 30.49 win last week over the sprint.
Hit the line stronger than anything and drawn out in the eight here has the muster to cross Fantastic Radley early and get him chasing.
Race 2. 7.25PM Fresh Pet Food Co Maiden – 530 metres
#1 Garry’s Chaos – $5 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Keep and eye on the market with plenty of first starters here but this son of champion SA sprinter Worm Burner for the Ben Rawlings kennel has to be respected on those two facts alone.
There’s money for the eight but we’ve seen at Angle Park it’s difficult to get a clean run across, would rather be with a well-bred inside boxed runner.
Race 3. 7.46PM Angle Park 8’s Juvenile – 530 metres
#7 Spring Crossing – $3 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Would much rather be with this more experienced commodity than the talented three start dog who goes off an odds on pop from box eight.
Spring Crossing has won five races in his career and is beginning to understand what it’s all about, the eight has talent but unproven from box eight id rather lay here.
Race 4. 8.10PM Sky Racing Non-Penalty – 530 metres
#1 Stout Monelli – $2 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Star former WA chaser lived up to his wicked trial last week going even quicker when winning on race day in 30.53 to remain unbeaten track and trip.
Has led those races on both occasions and even if he doesn’t has six hundred pedigree to call upon, should be a put in take out job here.
Race 5. 8.34PM Adelaide Dine and Dash Promotion Grade 5 – 530 metres
#4 Danyo’s Charlie – $3 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Normally one of the most consistent box dogs you’ll find in SA, missed the kick here last week and it was race over when Rushes found the front, but he can atone.
Twenty-four time winner has done it from every box, form before this was excellent, Rushes has been the only thorn in his side.
Race 6. 8.55PM 2021 Coffex Coffee SA Oaks Group Three Final – 530 metres
#8 Zinfadel Nikki – $4 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Not many would have been putting their hand up for box eight in this race but it might be just what this bitch needs.
She wanted to get to the middle of the track from box one last week costing herself and uncontested lead and still managed to stick on and qualify for the final.
Race 7. 9.19PM Greyhounds as Pets SA Owned Grade 5 – 530 metres
#1 My Name’s Craig – $6 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Admirable performance last week, had been racing well over the short course and first up over the 530 stuck on really well to finish a close third.
Box one this week the runway is open for a clean getaway and on last weeks sample the distance won’t be an issue, comes up a good price too.
Race 8. 9.40PM 2021 Industrial Cleaning Supplies Group Three SA Derby Final – 530 metres
#3 Gemtree Maximus – $3.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Looked a little lost first time at the new circuit last week, still ran on with aplomb to finish second despite not having been over the five hundred in some time.
Will be better for that look at the track and can ping with the best of them on his night, prefer the bigger price than the favourite in red.
Race 9. 10.02PM @thedogsSa Grade 6 – 530 metres
#4 Sandave Vision – $14 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Has been racing up the straight in South Australia, but bred out of Sandave Sapphire has some famous litter mates doing some good things on the east Coast.
Second up over the distance should be better and on pedigree alone is a big chance in an open fifth grade, looks way over the odds.
Race 10. 10.17PM Accell Therapy Grade 6 – 530 metres
#1 Lektra Boogie – $4 – Bet @ Sportsbet
A dog racing in form who traditionally finds a few lengths from an inside draw, has been just behind them in all three attempts here so far but gets his chance to strike.
Look for him to push forward and make his own luck early and with plenty of five hundred runs in the legs should be able to defy them late.
Race 11. 10.34PM Giddy-Up Grade 6 – 530 metres
#5 Shavano – $5.40 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Built for speed, has been plying his trade over the shorts of late but has won in very good time over the 455 metres at Murray Bridge as well.
Should make a straight line for he fence out of the boxes and any trouble behind will result in a race winning break down the back.
Race 12. 10.54PM Xp3020 Grade 6 – 530 metres
#6 Victa Jess – $6.40 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Looks the value of this bunch, is adept over the five and six hundred metres and has the advantage of drawing inside Defy.
If she can hold him out early and push across outside the leaders she has the engine to pass a few of these in the run.
