Angle Park Greyhound Racing Tips
Race 1. 7.10PM G-Six Sky Racing Grade 4 – 515 metres
#2 Boss McLaren – $4.30 – Bet Now
Very evenly matched with the favourite Golden Knight out of box one but with the price discrepancy, $4.30 against $1.70 leaning towards the value runner.
Boss McLaren was never in danger winning in 29.69 last week from box one, his only vulnerability taking a few short steps late.
He’ll need to lead Golden Knight comfortably again given he was an all the way winner over the six hundred metres last week, but in in five hundred contest Boss McLaren might just pinch it.
Race 2. 7.28PM G-Six XP3020 Maiden – 515 metres
#7 Australasian Art – $3.70 – Bet Now
Almost led here two starts ago when checked off heals trying to cross from box seven, thankfully no harm done and raced well over the four hundred metres upon return.
If she runs her 4.46 first sectional here, she looks a comfortable leader, a lot of her rivals have had plenty of chances to break their maiden’s here and she looks the most progressive of this bunch, lead early and keep going.
Race 3. 7.52PM G-Six Giddy-Up Grade 6 – 515 metres
#4 Cawbourne Boomer – $2.40 – Bet Now
Big run on debut here last week 30.01 closing late on Power Stone, was slow away but went through the gears and looks and out and out 515 metre prospect.
A lot of dogs want the inside here so he’s going to have to navigate them at the start, but space to his inside should help find a spot on the fence.
Two wins and two minors in his last four looks ripe for a victory.
Race 4. 8.13PM G-Six Acell Therapy Mixed 4/5 – 515 metres
#1 Wooden Tiger – $2.70 – Bet Now
Drew wide last week and was never a factor getting shuffled back through the field and did a good job to run on into fourth.
Should get all the favours from the draw this week, no immediate pressure on him from box one the powerful type should be able to balance up midfield and make a real charge at them in the second half of the race.
Race 5. 8.37PM G-Six We Love Our Dogs Open Class – 515 metres
#2 Shadow Mist – $1.90 – Bet Now
Intriguing two dog battle in open company, the brilliant Shadow Mist returns to the races for the first time in a couple of months and looks to have lost nothing fresh off a 29.64 trial, the low draw suits and is too good a dog to doubt first up.
Former WA star Sunset Milo is the only other dog here in the market, two from two here in good time from wide draws, he must beat SA’s best before being put on top.
Race 6. 8.58PM 2020 Coffex Coffee SA Oaks Group Three Fina – 515 metres
#3 My Girl Kizzy – $2.20 – Bet Now
Bombed the start here last week and still managed to find her way through the field on her way to a 29.72 run winning by almost five lengths.
She is generally better away than that and with her six hundred metre form in Victoria can camp off the pace and run over the top here too, all eyes will be on the start but looks too classy.
Race 7. 9.22PM G-Six Kurt Donsberg Photography Grade 5 – 515 metres
#8 Velocity Bottino – $10 – Bet Now
Looks the value of the race posted in he eight box, has the fastest first sectional of this lo and if he puts it together at box rise could run a very cheeky race at each way odds.
Rushes in box one is he class but doesn’t know the track like a few others, he’ll likely push to the middle from box one giving Velocity Bottino the chance to get the fly around the outside.
Race 8. 9.43PM 2020 BGC Industrial Cleaning Supplies Group Three Derby Final – 515 metres
#4 Major Major – $3.60 – Bet Now
Is in imperious form at the moment back to his brilliant best early in his career winning three straight with a 29.71 best last start.
Maps to get a run behind Coorong Nugget in box one, he’s no easy dog to run down but the way Major Major is going about it he’ll chase down anything that’s in front of him.
Doesn’t mind the middle draw good race sense and a tonne of ability.
Race 9. 10.09PM Greyhound Make Great Pets Free for All – 731 metres
#4 Sir Truculent – $1.40 – Bet Now
Was out of sorts over the sprint and middle-distance trip last two starts he’ll be busting to get back to his staying trip and should resume normal winning service here.
Got too far back when checked last week but still finished like a runaway train, small field suits him down to the ground here, won’t be beaten.
Race 10. 10.25PM G-Six Saturgrey Racing Grade 5 – 515 metres
#1 Cawbourne Scar – Bet Now
Top form reference behind Golden Night beaten a couple of lengths in 29.92 from box eight a couple of starts ago, finds box one here where he’s one three times and can fly the lids and looks hard to beat.
Modest win strike rate here but has been in some tough races fifth grade and a comfortable draw indicate it’s his time to notch one up.
