Bulli Greyhound Racing Tips
Race 1. 6.09PM Keep Safe New South Wales 1-2 Win Grade 5 – 472 metres
#3 Ben Major – $2.70 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Having his first run in New South Wales, has cut his teeth at similar tracks to Bulli in Victoria only missing the money twice out of ten starts.
He’s got speed directly outside him, but usually shows good burn early and if he finds the front that’s the last they rest will see of him.
Race 2. 6.29PM Mr. Bugs Pest Control 1-2 Wins Grade 5 – 472 metres
#2 Takahi Chisum – $15 – Bet @ Sportsbet
If far from a prolific winner but neither are any of these, he’s a good chance of building on his one from fifteen strike rate here having turned the corner recently with a string of quality Bulli runs.
Has been in the placings over the four hundred and 472 metres in his last five starts and has done so from some tough boxes, gets a bit of relief drawing the checked rug here and is well overs compared to some less experienced types.
Race 3. 6.49PM Southern Engine Reconditioning Mixed 4/5 – 472 metres
#6 Soul to Squeeze – $6 – Bet @ Sportsbet
In the form of his life winning two of his last five and not missing a placing in his other three runs including a last start performance where he was pipped here at track and trip first up while running a winner’s time.
He’s a dog who’s won races over the three hundred metres, so his early pace is on point and second up the the Bulli circuit from a suitable outside draw expect him to go a few lengths quicker than last week which will see him winning.
Race 4. 7.08PM Ladbroke It! Non-Graded 1-4 – 472 metres
#4 Wow – $1.70 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Not much meat on the bone but deservedly so with this freakish talent looking to improve his record to seven wins from nine starts here at Bulli where he has a searing best sub twenty-six seconds.
He doesn’t need much help but a vacant box outside won’t do any harm, Good Odds Cash inside him will be out quickly and act as a great bunny for the esteemed chaser who has him covered for strength.
Race 5. 7.35PM Ladbrokes Easy Form Grade 5 – 400 metres
#7 Aston Barak – $1.75 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Punters might look for a race to race multi with another odds on pop looking the goods here, Aston Barak is a winner everywhere he’s been from Wentworth Park, to Goulbourn and most importantly to Bulli where he was brilliant on debut over the four hundred last week.
He’s drawn well out in the seven, he’s a dog who needs a stride or two but once he gets his feet under him will have ground rapidly and on paper should circle this field and finish with a flourish.
Race 6. 7.57PM GRNSW Middle Distance Series Non-Graded – 590 metres
#7 Sound of Silence – $5 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Probably represents the value in what’s a cracking race with the likes of New South Wales Distance Champion Super Estrella, Group One stayer Stanley Road resuming and the talented Chrissie Banner, but Sound of Silence can match it with all of them of her day.
Loves it here at the track twice a winner in slick time over the niche distance, she knows her way around and is also in cracking form, a winner of two of her last five.
Race 7. 8.18PM Ladbrokes Same Race Multi Free for All – 400 metres
#8 Good Odds Tiger – $5 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Versatile chaser who’s won between the three hundred and five hundred metre trips, he seemingly has the ability to chop and change without losing his early spring.
Ebby Jet Power is the class of the race in box one but can get crowded, Good Odds Tiger will have plenty of track to work with, his early speed complementing his five hundred metre strength over this trip.
Race 8. 8.43PM Ladbrokes Split Multi Masters 1/2/3 – 472 metres
#7 Good Odds Harada – $1.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Impossible to back against the million dollar dog, he’s raced sparingly in the last couple of years due to injury but when he’s on his best is up there with any dog in Australia.
He’s past his peak now but finds himself perfectly placed in Masters Grade and trainer Frank Hurst would not risk bringing him back into work unless he knew he was ready to start winning races again.
Race 9. 8.58PM Bulli Racing This Wednesday Night Mixed 4/5 – 400 metres
#4 Nixon Bale – $6 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Has been knocking on the door at track and trip with some near misses recently, a pair of runner-up performances in good time a few starts ago read as good form for a race like this.
There will be pressure speed wise from the five early, but if he can manage to hold up should be first to the fence and subsequently the line.
Race 10. 9.21PM Bulli Dogs on Facebook Grade 5 – 400 metres
#3 Rockstar Collada – $5 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Has only won her maiden but did so in fine style last start going straight to the front over the three hundred metres at Richmond, has seen the track here before running a serviceable fourth.
There’s not much depth here and if she shows the same early pace should cross the red and be very hard to catch.
