Casino Greyhound Racing Tips
Race 1. 3.00PM Cecil Hotel Maiden – 300 metres
#1 Tahoe – $6 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Has been doing it tough in Victoria and Queensland in much tougher maidens so far in his career, is trained locally here and should appreciate box one.
A couple of starts ago was well away at Albion Park, tired late but that won’t be a factor over this shorter distance range and easier company.
Race 2. 3.19PM Richmond Valley Tires Grade 5 – 411 metres
#4 Integrity Mate – $2.20 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Will be shocked if he starts at this price after breaking the clock in a phenomenal maiden win last week where he just went further and further in front here after pinging the lids.
It’s a sizeable class jump straight into fifth grade, but he’s clearly up to it, look for him to blitz them early and go onto much bigger things in his career to come.
Race 3. 3.44PM Ladbroke It! Grade 5 Pathways – 300 metres
#5 Jake’s a Rake – $11 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Like the rest of these in this pathways race he’s out of form, but these contests present a great chance at finding some value and he looks just that at the double digit quote.
In a three-time winner at track and trip breaking seventeen seconds and like Tahoe earlier in the card drops back from tougher company North of the border.
Race 4. 4.09PM Riverina Stock Feeds Mixed 4/5 – 411 metres
#6 Kingsbrae Archie – $4 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Has been in top grade here at Casino over this trip for a long time, seven wins at the track and trip and gets a much needed break here back out of Free for All company.
Doesn’t look to be a whole lot of pressure coming down on him from outside and has a favourable record umping from the green throughout his career.
Race 5. 4.24PM Radio 2LM and Triple Z Grade 5 – 411 metres
#3 Liar for Hire – $3 – Bet @ Sportsbet
A lot of these have been battling to get through their grades but not this young chaser who’s won three of four since coming here to Casino, confidence high after roping home by six lengths last week.
Meets some proven veterans but if she brings her box manners she should be straight on the arm and looking at improving that personal best.
Race 6. 4.44PM GRNSW Middle-Distance Series Non-Graded – 620 metres
#2 Kooringa Lucy – $1.70 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Locally born and bred star who’s made a name for herself on the national stage, has been very unlucky not to have knocked over that big Group win yet, she was checked badly at the start in her heat last week.
She should land straight on the lure here from the draw and the $1.70 looks generous if she does, has a huge motor and could test the track record.
Race. 7 5.12PM Charcoal Inn Group Three Casino Cup – 484 metres
#2 Mitchell Street – $7 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Boxes win races here at Lismore and Mitchell Street looks to have come up trumps with the checks here in the final, he should show customary burn to get across the red dog early and ake the others do the chasing.
He’s in outstanding winning form in Queensland then last weeks heat but will have to ward off Louis Rumble, the favourite will be doing his best to tear away from box seven.
Race 8. 5.34PM Guy the Barman Non-Graded – 411 metres
#8 Diamond Jill – $2.80 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Frank Hancock has been breeding stars on the Northern Rivers for years and looks to have another promising speedster in Diamond Jill who made them look slow in her first trip to Casino in the Free for All last week.
Jumps up in distance but has won over the 420 at Lismore before and the 411 here at Casino from a wide draw looks very suitable on paper.
Race 9. 5.54PM Damien Paccito Electrical Mixed 4/5 – 484 metres
#2 Black Chilli – $3.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Can be hard to catch, was out the back in his Cup Heat last week, but his best is very good, a 29.7 winner at Wentworth Park he needs a touch of luck to the first turn and should get it.
Dreamy Dan should lead up from box one but Black Chilli maps to drop behind the speed and will be coming home with a big couple of sectionals.
Race 10. 6.09PM Casino RSM Club Mixed 4/5 – 300 metres
#4 Bokarm Billy – $4 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Loves it here at the track and trip even if he has been struggling of late from wide draws, jumps from the four here where he’s had much more success.
The three dog will be heading for the fence if he can cruise up alongside early can nip away around the point of the turn.
Race 11. 6.27PM Palmerbet Bookies Bag Grade 5 – 300 metres
#7 This is Real – $5 – Bet @ Sportsbet
First timer here at Casino but recent runs at Lismore over the similar trip suggest he can upset some of the locals here.
Comes out running and has an engine capable of going further than the advertised distance.
Race 12. 6.42PM Clydesdale Motel and Steakhouse Grade 5 – 300 metres
#4 Zipping Thunder – $3 – Bet @ Sportsbet
A lot of one win dogs here, he’s already managed three including an easy victory his only occasion here at Casino.
Will off set the box with blazing early speed and put the race to bed.
