Ipswich Greyhound Racing Tips
Race 1. 5:12PM TAB Maiden – 431 metres
#2 Abby Court – Bet Now
Tough race to access with not much exposed form in the maiden field but Terry Chapman’s bitch looks to be a real improver here moving to box two.
The bitch has been squeezed out from box five her first two starts and ran on well from box four into fourth last time out, if she can navigate the first turn has the motor to win.
Race 2. 5:27PM Sky Racing Maiden – 520 metres
#8 Inbox – Bet Now
Gallant performance on debut last week, was beaten comfortably by the very handy Marseille but copped all sorts of trouble early from a middle draw and still wound up in the placings.
Runs a good straight line out of the boxes and should appreciate more space this week from the eight, if there is a pile up at the first turn at 37.7 kilos he should get the best of it.”
Race 3. 5:46PM IPSWICHGREYHOUND.COM – 431 metres
#1 Buzzer Beater – Bet Now
Exciting young dog out of Tony Brett’s Group One champion Thirty Talks went 16.81 over the flying 288 metre trip and was full of running late, the fact Brett has stepped him straight up says he has confidence he’ll run the distance.
Race will be won and lost at the start, Pacino in the two is a noted good beginner and Buzzer Beater won’t want to be giving the more experienced dog a start.
Race 4. 6:05PM Dover & Sons – 520 metres
#2 Hoof It Hank – Bet Now
Huge run last start winning his Maiden in 30.59 at the track and trip, a time that would put him in the mix with much older dogs.
Litter brother Pump It broke the Novice Class record at Albion Park a fortnight ago and Hank showed similar ability when he got to the front.
Is mad for the rail and box two gives him a great chance to get there early.
Race 5. 6:20PM Just Greyhound Photos Grade 5 – 431 metres
#2 In And Out – Bet Now
Part of trainer Tommy Tzouvelis’ gun litter that won seven straight races in the last ten days.

#2 See Them Try – Bet Now
Warren Nicholls talented youngster steps back up to the 520 after a stint over the shorts which should have toughened him up for this assignment.
Ran a couple of huge races over the distance at Albion Park, not quick early but should avoid trouble and be charging late.
Punters should get a juicy each way price about the dog as well.
Race 7. 6:56PM GJ Walsh & Co Free For All – 630 metres
#2 Emmaville Star – Bet Now
Hard to go past her 37.3 performance winning by ten lengths here last week, she finds a similar field and from a good box draw should be able to push forward again and take a lot of running down.
It’s A Trick in box seven is the biggest danger but should get back early from the draw if Emmaville Star is in the first few early can’t see her being rolled here, also boasts a five from six record at the track.
Race 8. 7:21PM Ipswich Show Society Cup Final Grade 2 – 520 metres
#7 Shakey Diesel – Bet Now
High class field but local trainer Peter O’Reilly’s Shakey Diesel looks to map perfectly in this field.
Hammer Down in box six on his inside will get out early and head to the fence giving Shakey Diesel a beautiful trail across into the race.
As long as Hammer Down doesn’t get too far in front Shakey Diesel is the stronger more experienced dog and should be in the picture late.
Race 9. 7:42PM TAB Grade 5 – 431 metres
#8 Coopes – Bet Now
Comes up with the perfect draw here loves box eight at the 431-metre start stays wide early and is strong to the line.
A four-time winner at the track and distance from the powerful Scott kennel expect a forward showing back at Ipswich after some time at Albion Park.
Bonus Only is a threat in the four if he begins but has plenty of speed around him from the squeeze box.
Race 10. 8:03PM WWW.IPSWICHGREYHOUND.COM Mix ¾ – 431 metres
#4 Walloon Moo – Bet Now
Trained by long time Ipswich committee member Merv Page the lightly raced bitch loves the 431 at Ipswich with six wins to her name.
Comes up with box four with a vacant to her outside which is a huge positive as she does like to use a little bit of the track on the first turn.
Very good race sense knows how to avoid trouble even in a tough Mix ¾ field like this.
