Sandown Park Greyhound Racing Tips
Race 1. 6.12PM Winter Buffet Special Mixed 6/7 – 515 metres
#1 Ridge – $2.40 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Surprised to see this chaser still in this grade, has run a couple of luckless seconds but is bound for bigger things and gets every chance from box one here.
Has been battling from wide draws to get across and just missing out, if he can begin with them has the talent to punch up and hold the fence.
Race 2. 6.37PM Congrats Christo Bale Grade 5 – 515 metres
#6 King of Calypso – $5.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Got well out of his ground last start but was making up lengths in the run to the line missing out by the barest of margins charging three wide.
Got bottled away on the fence in that run, if he finds himself one off mid-field here he can pull to the outside and take care of these in the run home.
Race 3. 6.58PM Congrats Delbridge Family Grade 5 – 515 metres
#2 Zachary – $3.10 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Gifted chaser who has these covered if he brings his best form, can mix box manners which is his only downfall, but with a moderate beginner inside him and drawn the two should be nice and close.
Hasn’t put time on the board here yet but the track and trip look ideally suited to his strengths watch the clock if he leads.
Race 4. 7.22PM Blackbook on Watchdog App Mixed 4/5 – 595 metres
#2 Immunity – $1.80 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Group level sprinter who’s recently got his feet wet over the longer distance, possesses wicked early pace over this distance and is drawn to lead from the one.
Often see him flashing late to get up over the sprint, looks the natural progression to get him to the 595 metres.
Race 5. 7.43PM Toongabbie Lodge Grade 5 – 595 metres
#5 Ripplebrook Glen – $10 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Looks the one over the odds here, has been racing without luck from some tough draws and has still been competing at a high level.
The five doesn’t help too much this week but he can fly the lids on his night and if he does will make it a tough task for the favourite in the six.
Race 6. 8.07PM Download he Watchdog App Grade 5 – 715 metres
#3 Empress Tears – $8 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Would much rather take the each-way quote about this chaser than the odds on for the favourite who’s a promising type but inexperienced at the trip.
This dog can mix his form but always runs home strong over the 715 which is more than half the battle in a fifth grade contest.
Race 7. 8.28PM RSN Central 10.30AM Weekdays Mixed 4/5 – 515 metres
#2 Papi Go Fast – $3.10 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Prolific winner who finds his right draw and favourite track and trip here, his races are born around early speed and from the checks he should land on the bunny here.
Would traditionally get tired late but has matured well and should show them a clean set of heels.
Race 8. 8.52PM TAB Long May We Play Free for All – 515 metres
#8 Gypsy Yankee – $6.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Couldn’t quite cut across from this draw last start and lead, could have been a different story if he’d done so, still ran an admirable third.
Gets another look from a box he’s won from before at a generous quote, if he leads he likely wins.
Race 9. 9.13PM Accell Therapy Grade 5 – 515 metres
#2 Call Me Chloe – $2.20 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Surprised to be getting this quote about this bitch on her current form, has won her last two, leading all the way first time and powering home late for her second win.
Has options out of the boxes, may take up the running or take the sit behind the leaders and run on.
Race 10. 9.32PM XP3020 Grade 5 – 515 metres
#6 Weblec Thunder – $3.40 – Bet @ Sportsbet
The money for the favourite in box one is justified, the dog’s an exceptional talent but first up track and trip you’re never quite sure, where as Weblec Thunder is a proven commodity.
Can show plenty of pace out of the lids and a vacant to his outside will only help, if he crosses the one early the race changes complexion very quickly.
Race 11. 9.55PM Giddy-Up Grade 5 – 515 metres
#1 Digitorum – $5.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet
A real professional, does nothing that will blow the competition away but won’t do anything to lose the race either, from the red you can trust him on an each-way basis.
There might be a few jumping out of the ground late trying to run him down, but if he holds the rail will give a great sight.
Race 12. 10.13PM TAB Melbourne Cup November 26 – 515 metres
#8 Carrie – $4.20 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Speedy type that hasn’t been getting the breaks of late against stronger company than this, gets a chance to cut and run from the eight here.
No real pace inside her if he finds the bunny you’ll see a different race bitch.
